YAP Our first official stop, on our around the world adventure with Star Alliance. The flights in and out of here where limited, so we where able to make quick great friends. Dieter, the hands on owner, and manager was extremely help full and enjoyable to be around. We loved the entire staff and made the right choice in our... More

I stayed one week at Yap Pacific Dive Resort. This was my second time and I was very satisfied with everything. All the staff go above and beyond the call of duty. I went diving one day and all my needs we're carefully met. Attention to detail and safety with friendly smiles. The large rooms with hardwood floors are very... More

First we had a great time at this facility. The accommodations were very nice and clean. There is an oblivious lack of maintenance from the peeling paint to the gardens requiring landscaping. It appears as though the current management is doing the minimum required to continue operation with no thought for the future. Maintenance should not be the problem considering... More

Yap Pacific Dive Resort is the best hotel in Yap. We stayed there for 7 days for the New Year and if you anyway in Yap you must be diving. Otherwise there are not too much to do there anyway. Comparing to Yap, Palau is like New York (much more modern and organised). FSM (Federated States of Micronesia) is a... More

Went there for a week as a family of four (two children, 12 and 10). The place is just beautiful and stylish (both exterior and interior); having seen some other places in Yap, I dare to say that this one is the most attractive one. It is also very centrally located in Colonia. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. E.g.,... More

When I think how remote this is from everything else in the world, I have to say this is truly remarkable. It is a beautiful property. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food--fresh fish three times a day!!!--is incredible. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. When I thought the dining service could have been a bit more prompt, my... More

Stayed here for a few days during Super Typhoon Haiyan and even tried my first dive. What a great friendly place to relax, unwind and have a great time. The front desk staff, Rox, Cheche, the restaurant staff, Sambrenia, Jay, Laurie, the Dive Master Charles all made my stay PERFECT. Thanks for a life time wonderful time and experience.

Just spent seven nights here, for diving. I was the only person at the resort! The staff were absolutely lovely and spoilt me! They drove me to the supermarket and showed me around Colonia. The aircon didn't work in the first room I was given, so they moved me immediately, nothing was too much trouble. Ate at the restaurant a... More

Just got back from spending a week on the Island of Yap. We had six days of diving and a great cultural experience. We stayed at the Yap Pacific Dive Resort in Colonia. Colonia is the "big" town on the Island of Yap. What that means as it relates to Yap is you can walk anywhere you want to go... More

The hotel was great! Sleepy with a great view. Breakfast was fantastic and included in the price of the room. Pros The ac was very cold in the room, which is amazing because the humidity is very burdensome in Yap. You can walk to town. There is a bay to walk/run around in the morning and afternoon. There is a... More
