The room was beyond filthy. (We had several rooms booked, and they were all filthy.) The bathroom sink and shower had unidentifiable goop on the fixtures. There was mold and huge black mildew in the shower. The water in the shower came out at a trickle/running drip, and it was not possible to bathe or wash my hair. The sheets... More

Very comfortable, but simple amenities. Lagoon side bar open for Happy Hour daily. One restaurant open for meals. Priced very fairly. You come here to dive. Around 40 sunken Japanese WWII ships in Chuuk Lagoon. Quite an experience. Nice little museum on the resort to lesrn the history of the lagoon, diving and Operation Hailstone. And the Lagoon views, sunsets,... More

Rooms were small but kept clean. The biggest complaint is with the shower. The water pressure is very low so it was hard to get a good shower after a day of diving. My room looked to the west into the lagoon. The restaurant was was well staffed, food was very good with a large menu to choose from. The... More

First I must say that not only would we go back, we ARE going back, asap. Of the many, many scuba trips we've taken over the past 25 years this is one of those places we'll definitely return to. Now to the "review". First the hotel part. The good parts- great view of the famous Truk Lagoon, convenient to the... More

Blue Lagoon Resort has clean and neat landscaping, Rooms are nice and comfortable, beautiful view from porches, after dark needs heavier backs on curtains, and shades on louver windows to keep night lights out, had TV no cable, restaurant food was good, kitchen was a little slow in service, getting food out. Internet was spotty and slow as others signed... More

We have returned to Blue Lagoon for a further 12 days as my partner loved the wreck diving so much. In just 9 months (with a typhoon thrown in between) there have been significant improvements to the rooms and hence the increase to 5 stars. The rather grotty carpets have been replaced by tiles in all rooms and what an... More

It's no 5 star resort. The food is good, the staff are fantastic and the resort is ageing and has a few flaws. They are quickly forgotten about after the first dive. We stayed there for 6 days and it was an unforgettable experience. We were there for the diving and anything seemed trivial. Our bus even broke down on... More

My 15th dive trip here since 1985. Tried all liveaboards in that time , but value for money - Dive with Blue lagoon. Please note - it is not a luxury five star resort , so do not go there expecting one .

Staying 6 nights and diving my butt off, this resort was just perfect. Needs a little polish before stepping up to the next level, but perfect for weary divers. Twin rooms came with 2 x queen sized beds (Yay!) To sprawl and look over your photos. Would have loved tea & coffee/kettle facilities in the room, but not a major... More

We just had 7 days at the Blue Lagoon in Chuuk. This is one of the best trips I have had at Chuuk, the staff were great but most of all the dive guides were the best. The hotel it self is an older style nice sized rooms and a good restaurant. The food was good well as good as... More
