Stayed one night with our 1 year old. Room was very clean and very spacious for the price paid. Even though motel is located on the main road we didn't notice any traffic noise. shower and toilet was very small but was fine for 1 night.

We spent a night at Ashbury Park Motel between travelling from Christchurch to Queenstown. The room was spacious, clean + comfortable. The staff were friendly, tv was great, free wifi was a bonus, and there was very little road noise considering we were on a main road. Would happily return!

My wife and I were passing through Timaru and booked into Ashbury Park for the night. The hosts were great and very friendly and gave us some great information on a couple of places my wife wanted to check out. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the shower far better than some of the expensive places we stayed.... More

over the last 4 months stayed at 2 other motels and an apartment in Timaru . None of them come close to the Asbury Park, I've told my HR team reluctant to stay elsewhere. No wonder the no vacancy sign is always out. Thanks again Frank

Although our stay at Ashbury Park was only a one night stopover, the hospitality shown by the owners makes me want to go back to NZ! It was the only place in NZ where we got help with our luggage PLUS the owner wiped the back window of our car on the cold morning when we checked out! We had... More

Stayed on a number off occasions in 2014 for work .rooms we're clean well maintained. And the hosts couldn't do enough for me to the point of doing my washing for me while doing long hours at the work. Even put my warm beers in the fridge for me. Kiwi hospitality at its best. Free wi fi was magic other... More

We were greeted warmly at reception and found our room spacious and clean. We were given good local knowledge and it was the perfect place for an over night stay. We had a two bedroom unit with a queen in the main room which also featured a good sized small fridge and microwave, lounge and table. The second room has... More

Stayed one night in the Studio Suite at the back of the property. Very clean, quite and comfortable unit. Double glazed so no road noise, property owners very friendly and willing to give advice on attractions in the area.

Stayed overnight enroute to Dunedin. Friendly quick check in. Clean room with everything needed for a comfie night. Average room tariff. Wifi free but couldn't get a connection. Small TV with limited channels. Beds ok. Good shower. Pak n save and a selection of takeaways 5 mins walk away. We had a pleasant stay.

Owner was very friendly. Room was very well-decorated and clean. The shower area was really small. Two heaters were provided. Complete and full kitchen. Good value. Even after 7pm, owner was still around to help solve some hiccups.
