Last Feb. I had the opportunity to stay at the Elizabeth Court B & B for the 3rd time in a year and a half. The Elizabeth Court Guest House B & B is clean, and very close to Stafford Street, the CBD and beautiful Caroline Bay! The meals are excellent and filling, and Ginny, the manager, is tireless and... Ginny and staff immediately make you feel part of the family. Home cooked meals are on offer and the breakfasts are freshly cooked. Both are very good value. Ginny and staff are always on hand to help giving service above and beyond if needed. The rooms are unique, clean and homely.

Thankyou Harry for your wonderful review. It was lovely having your company for 3 days during your trip and we hope you managed to see as much of our local area as you had planned. We would love to have you visit again even if it is for a catch up "Cuppa"....Warmest Regards...Ginny. More

We didn't initially plan to stay in Timaru, but it made since during our road trip through south island. What a little jewel! Ginny is so welcoming! I felt like I was back home in south louisiana! Such a warm welcome. We wanted to stay longer. Free breakfast, which they clean up!!? Such a difference after staying in hostels. Loved... More

Clean and cozy homey feeling place with super friendly staff. This place was very welcoming and I would stay here again. We had a really nice chat with the owner, Ginny, a wonderful host. The location is good as it is right off the main road and yet it's nice and quiet.

We enjoyed everything about the stay at Ginny's very much; she was very welcoming, showed us around and explained everything. There's a beautiful porch/barbecue station, a herb garden, and very comfortable TV and common room. Ginny's friendliness and helpfulness made the stay perfect.

My family and I were on an NZ roadtrip and one of our best accomodations would have to be Elizabeth Court inTimaru. The hostess, Ginny is such a friendly and talkative person. She would suggest you interesting places to visit. The room was affordable and comfy with free wifi. It's a shame we only stayed for one night. Would definitely... More

Lovely lady, lovely house. Feels like it was ripped out of British country side right into Timaru. Very comfortable and homely feeling. Te breakfast is basic, but more than enough, and you can use the kitchen as you please. One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand (with our budget).

I was traveling with my two adult sons and we stayed here for two nights. The room had a double bed and two bunk beds which, for $95 per night, met our needs exactly. The room was clean and quiet. The washroom was located across the hall and the shower just around the corner. Both were easy to get to... More

If you want to stay in a clean, quiet, centrally located bed and breakfast you need to look no further than the Elizabeth Court Guest House. I have stayed there on three different occasions and have never been disappointed. It is an easy walk to Stafford Street (CBD), a supermarket and beautiful Caroline Beach. But what sets this B &...
