Lovely friendly staff nothing was to much trouble. The location was excellent close to Restaurants Shopping and Caroline Bay. Very clean spacious and warm. Really lovely stay. I would recommend to others to stay here and would certainly stay here again when next in Timaru.

We`d been roadtripping NZ after coming over to see 3 Queens of The Stone Age gigs and had stayed in some pretty amazing places....avoiding Motor Lodges at all costs.....nothing against them, we just prefer the more quirky accommodation. Having hit Timaru late afternoon, tired and not knowing how much further we`d have to drive to find anything else, we bit... More

We stopped here for the night in March 2014 to hole up during bad weather. The motel is designed for comfort. Although we booked the queen studio, it has a separate bedroom from the kitchenette. While everything is compact, it was quite comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including newer pots and pans. The fridge in the... More

We stayed here for two nights in January 2014 with our three children and really liked it. The room was beautiful and clean and was serviced daily. The location was brilliant - right opposite a park with a playground and waterfall and lots for the kids to do. Close walking distance to shops and restaurants. The lady on the desk... More

I travel extensively for work and have stayed at this motel a number of times because it is centrally located but this will be the last. I am in the older side of the facilities. The furniture, floor coverings, pcitures on the wall, china in the kitchen are extremely dated. The entrance to these motels is like walking through the... More

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful accommodation. We had a two bedroom apartment with lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and awesome service! Enough space for the four of us (2 adults and the 2 kids). Would come back here any day!

Excellent place, great price. The views from our room were unmatched. The view includes beach, palm trees and snow capped mountains. The owner is very helpful with local information. Close to beach and downtown Timaru. Several great restaurants close by.

Room 19 was 10 metres away from the main State Highway in New Zealand. There was no buffering from the noise! Nor any ear plugs given. I might as well have slept outside. Do not except any of their rooms on the Western side of the complex. On the plus side, it was a close to the town.

This motel is just above Caroline Bay and a handy walk to town. It is spacious and was very clean and comfortable, the spa bath was a hit after two days of sport as well! We have booked in again for next year. Also right next door to Monteiths Restaurant which is an excellent restaurant.

Booked access unit which had all the necessary features for someone with mobility problems. Plenty of heating, good kitchen and bathroom facilities and comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful hosts and being able to use laundry facilities free of charge was a bonus. Good parking right outside unit. Very handy to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay!
