Outstanding service, far beyond what I would have expected from a motel. I especially recommend this place for families. I arrived late with two young tired children and Donald (the manager) made us feel comfortably and dealt with us speedily . The unit was spotless, warm and decorated to a high standard. There was plenty of hot water and good water... More

We had a 2 bed unit sleeping three of us. Apparently you can squeeze 6 in but that'd be really cosy! Place was clean and tidy. It was functional for our needs but could have been more comfortable eg there was no sofa or coffee table in the lounge area. Tried to get a shuttle up to the ski field... More

I would've probably given this place a 3.5 star if I could but that's not available in the Tripadivsor rating. But when trying to decide whether it's "good" or "average", it is certainty more average than good. The mountain view studio room we had was fine - it was relatively spacious, and it was warm. The place was clean although... More

What outstanding service I have had from Donald. I stayed last night and left my ipad and phone charge. Since I have rung he has rung me twice as to the best way to get the cords to me and has found someone that is travelling passed. Not only did I get a beautiful warm, clean and tidy room but... More

Nice clean warm rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good view of mt raupehu. Snow reports feed through on tv channel. Spa pool just perfect after a day on the slopes. Drying room for your gear. Though the pillows were too flat for my liking. Cooking facilities with a two pot stove top were a nice surprise.

Owner was helpful in helping us get our car back from Horopeto after doing the old coach road walk, has free WiFi vouchers to check email etc with, it's the same distance to either end of town from here and there is the river walk across the road. Room was fully furnished and warm and they put the heaters on... More

We came here for skiing at Turua ski field. The room is clean, warm and well furnished. And the owner Donald is so friendly and helpful. We got useful suggestions from him to do alternative activity as the ski field was closed, due to bad weather over the mountain. He always was there to help you when needed. He contacted my... More

Reasonably priced, great location for cycling, Mt Ruapehu, and surrounding area. The Manager is a cyclist and joined us on a cycle around the area. The motel is very accommodating, close to all amenities, has great cooking facilities. Warm great for all seasons, with the ski season coming up close to Turoa. Really enjoyed our stay.

Just an over nighter, husband took 5mins to book on his phone though could be cheaper if we called and gave the booking cost so owner says.? Thoughtful hosts turned our heater on before arrival and gave us a room with a bigger bed once he saw how big my husband is.. No view no matter we just needed somewhere... More

We stayed for three nights at Ohakune Court Motel and would highly recommend it to others. After arriving we upgraded to a renovated room with mountain views as the price was very good. The room itself was great - comfy bed, lots of space and a good kitchen area. Free internet was provided, as well as a DVD library, which... More
