Just returned from 2 weeks in this little Turkish paradise. We booked because of the great reviews on this site and were not disappointed. The rooms are quite basic but spotless and have everything you need .There is air-conditioning which is essential at this time of year and - unlike other places we've stayed in - they don't charge extra... more

We have stayed at Sedir many times, each time we are amazed at the beauty and tranquillity of Sedir with its panoramic views of mountains, lush fruit orchards, beautiful gardens with an inviting pool area. Other members have said it all, the Tarhan family and helpers are quite wonderful, the food is fresh and delicious, the apartments are spotless, the... more

We travelled with our children 11 and 10 the last 2 weeks in August. Easy 30mins transfer to our relaxed yet very attentive hosts. Baki and Filiz were amazing, as already said nothing was too much trouble. If the kids didn't fancy the Turkish meal in the evening Filiz would buy fresh fish or steak for them and serve it... more

The Sedir Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay in Dalyan. Small and quiet with only 9 rooms, it is run by Baci and his family who are friendly, helpful and did all they could to make our stay memorable. A lovely pool area with a shaded seating/ eating/ bar area, clean basic rooms and well tended gardens make Sedir... more

My partner and I (Rob 48 Ann 46) Just got back from the Sedir after reading the reviews here on TA. The property is set with stunning views of the mountains in a quiet location yet still within walking distance to the town (20mins). It is run by Baki his wife Felis and their sons. They are a very nice... more

Sedir Apartments is without a doubt one of the most welcoming places I have stayed. Baki, Felis and their sons Orcun and Bakun (apologies for any spelling errors) could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were one of the only apartments occupied by people whose stay was their first at Sedir. All the family speak English very well,... more

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to Sedir and further to our previous review we have to reiterate how wonderful it still is. Every time we visit Sedir we leave a piece of 'us' behind, we envisage visiting again and again, we can't stay away for too long or we get withdrawal symptoms. Baki and Filiz remain the... more

We stayed at the Sedir Resort from 21.08.06 - 04.09.06. 3 of us (ages 39, 36 and 13). It was a beautiful tranquil place, surrounded by amazing scenary. The apartments are about a 20min walk from town, a nice walk on flat roads with no hills but if you don't want to walk the hotel offers courtesy transport to town... more

We returned from a fortnight at Sedir last August this was our secound visit to stay with Baki and his family. We searched the web in 2004 and stumbled across Sedir. We were very hesitant, least so our husbands as we were booking for 2 families. We spoke to Sheila Drummond who assured us it was the best and the... more

Having found the website and looking for a change of destination, usually we travel to the small village of Patara, Turkey, we decided we liked the look of the Sedir. We booked without any fuss over the internet and were extremely delighted at our welcome and for the rest of our stay. We took advice from the Drummonds from a... more
