Booked a 5 day trip last minute for a really cheap price through teletext. We had a garden view room. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is basic but more than sufficient. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, bread, cold meats and jams and spreads. The hotel owner was lovely to us. I loved the way he apologised for having to have the... More

Wonderful holiday in the Yavus, Superb location - quiet, peaceful, amazing views yet just a few minutes walk to the centre of Dalyan. Room very clean with an excellent bathroom. Gardens & pool area immaculate. Very good Turkish breakfast. Just so sorry we could only stay for one week but it was a great start to our multi-centre holiday in... More

If you are not interested in particularly ostentatious resorts but rather one that is warm and welcoming, Yavuz Hotel is perfect. The people that work there, i.e. Mr. Yavuz himself and Typhun, make an effort to make everybody feel welcome and happy. I stayed there with eight other friends of mine, and while Yavuz Hotel is generally aimed at tourists... More

Excellent value for money, staff helpful , location and views very picturesque , rooms very basic not much storage but spotlessly clean. The breakfast was OK but we were all disappointed there was no water or fresh juices which we did bring to the attention of Mr Yavus the owner to no avail. It is a small friendly hotel which... More

Just back from my second stay at Yavuz hotel and my 13th trip to Dalyan. Hotel was spotless, pool area/gardens immaculate and Mr Yavuz has thawed having spent an evening drinking Raki and letting him play my Turkish music from my iPod. Can't fault the hotel, Tayfun worked very hard on reception, behind the bar, at breakfast, gardening and night receptionist. Only... More

Didn't know what to expect on reading various reviews, especially with regard to Yavuz. However I was pleasantly surprised. I found Yavuz very welcoming and friendly and always had time to have a chat. The hotel rooms are basic, but spotlessly clean - thanks to the women that seem to work very long hours. Only negative is the bathroom it... More

We visited the Yavuz Hotel between June 1st and June 14th and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Mr yavuz, the owner, does have a few rules and regulations, the infamous notice about smuggled contraband seems to be prevalent but we respected his wishes. He is a character but once you get to know him, you begin to change your perception of... More

I have to admit I'm biased about the Yavuz. I've been going there almost every year for the past 10 years AND I speak Turkish quite well. I go back there because I've never been disappointed. Yes, the owner has a few rules he is strict about, e.g. don't bring food of your own into the rooms, but when you... More
