I have stayed in this hotel on two occasions last year (2013) once in May and once in September for three weeks on each occasion. The accommodation although basic is adequate and very clean. There is a good size swimming pool and the area is very pleasant and peaceful. The restaurant is second to none and is always full (this... More

This is an extremely basic ho(s)tel - the rooms are particularly bare of any decoration and have minimal furniture in, which means you live out of your suitcase, The bathroom was a wet room, combined with the vinyl flooring and inevitable dust, leaving a lot to be desired. The sheets were changed regulalrly but could definetly do with new ones... More

I'm a teacher travelling on my own who wanted a few days half term sun but when I arrived I was told that they had actually just closed for the season, but were told by tour operators they still had to honour my booking. The owners not wanting to put me in the hotel on my own gave me the... More

We have just returned home after yet another fantastic holiday. My husband, my Mum and I just could not wait to return to the Patio. The hotel itself is basic. If you do not like basic DO NOT GO. For us it is great, great position, great staff, great atmosphere. Friendly welcome. In your room you have a bed, a... More

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day stay there. We were worried about all the negative reviews, but need not have been concerned. Okay it was basic, but very clean and the owner and his wife and the rest of the staff could not have been more friendly, specially the room maid who despite being deaf and dumb was... More

The Patio hotel is in an excellent location, close to the boats that take you along the reeded river to Turtle beach. We arrived at 0200 to be shown our room by the night porter, who although didn't speak much English, directed us to a nearby shop so that we could buy water, as the bar closes at midnight to avoid...
