Me and my family spent three great days including the new year’s eve at Assos Alarga Hotel. The hotel is located in the center of Assos (local name: Behramkale), lovely historic village with beautiful architecture, five minutes walking distance to the antique Temple of Athena and very near to the antique city ruins. The hotel itself is a well restorated... More

This is a beautiful hotel. Superbly restored historic house in an amazing historic setting right by fascinating ancient ruins. The food is excellent - make sure you have dinner. The owners are kind and incredibly welcoming. The rooms are tasteful, elegant with real character. We had a wonderful time would strongy recommend it to independent travellers who value atmosphere, history... More

We spend two great days in a magnificent home with an extraordinary view, a wide terrasse and a lovely garden. Ete and her crew took care of us very kindly, warmthly and great attention. The ancient Greek city is beautiful occupying an extended site and facing the Mediterranean Sea.

If Assos Alarga could have a Michelin Star rating I would give it two. Seriously this B&B is so much more. A great setting with beautiful views, beautifully restored old house with sympathetic new additional rooms and decorated to a very high standard. If you don't like to be papered don't come to Assos Alarga. In fact your hosts will... More

Being in this lovely old village house was a real treat. Charming and helpful hosts, outstanding breakfasts served under a pergola in the garden or courtyard. Comfortable rooms with stunning views, and a lovely terrace for drinks in the evening after a long day's sightseeing. The hotel is located in Assos , one of the countless areas of antique civilisations which ornament the Anatolian Peninsula ,Turkey , at the foot of the Kazdağı mountains , North of the Egean Sea .These mountains are renowned for the oxygen amount of their atmosphere. This is a fact .We always felt ourselves extremely light and happy each time... More

This is the cosiest hotel you can find on the planet. We thank Ece once again for her hospitality and her reccommendations for eating around (I ate the best goat in my life in a very surprising location where Ece sent us to.) Looking forward to get back to Assos Alarga.

As did Aristotle, I wanted to stay in the ancient town of Assos and see, as perhaps he did, the Temple of Athena at sunrise. But I was not certain whether to book one of the boutique hotels high above the harbor, or at the harbor itself with its colorful fishing boats and restaurants, or even a few miles away... More

This is a very special place. Our hosts were just so warm and thoughtful. The accommodations are beautiful and so tastefully appointed. The setting is everything you imagine the Aegean coastal area to be complete with the temple to Athena, shepherds bringing the sheep in for the night, and sleepy fishing villages nearby. We had dinner at the ancient harbor... More
