What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in November 2010 and I meant to review it then. Great accomodation, location, views from the roof terrace, but the most lasting memory was the host. Emily was lovely, made us feel very welcome and comfortable, in fact we changed our plans to stay an extra night! I would definately recommend the... More

On my solo travels in Turkey, I stayed at Eris Pansiyon for 2 days and could not have picked a more perfect spot. It was like visiting a friend. Emily, the American host, was so gracious to her guests, and treated us to afternoon tea/coffee and treats amidst breath-taking views of the valley and local villages beyond. Her B&B has... More

In September 2011 my husband and I spent two nights at this charming inn and we agree with all the positive comments already recorded. The owner Emily's gracious personality is a big part of the experience here. The only problem was finding the place, for which it is best to be in contact with her directly. Also, be forewarned that... More

Eris Pansiyon is a very charming B&B, from the gorgeous terrace views to the little nooks tucked away in different parts of the garden and the overflowing bookshelves everywhere. Emily Vickers, the proprietor, is so warm and welcoming and makes you feel at home instantly, if you can imagine a home with a lovely view and delicious breakfasts and afternoon... More

Proprietor Emily Vickers, out for a walk, rescued us after the dolmus from Ayvacik dropped us at the bus shelter in Assos and the only living things around were some wild turkeys, chickens, and some very traditional-looking Turkish men having a conversation. We had no idea which direction to head and she offered to guide us to her place to... More

As someone pointed out, Eris Pansiyon is actually in Behramkale above Assos. Behramkale is the Turkish name for the village but Assos, the Greek name, has stuck for the harbour area. Trip Advisor would be doing Emily Vickers, our gracious hostess, a favor by including Eris Pansiyon in the Assos listings. We were Emily's first guests of the season, in... More

We felt instantly welcome at Eris Pansiyon -of course the afternoon tea helps! This tiny village is located at site of ancient Assos and makes a good place to stopover between the Gallipoli peninsular and Selcuk (Ephesus). From Eris Pansyion you can easily walk to the temple of Athena and the hillside amphitheatre. The seaside village is a slightly scary... More

Great location with a beautiful view. The atmosphere was amazing - from one side you could see the Temple of Athena (and walk there in 10 mins), from the other side you saw a breathtaking view of the Meditterannean and the surrounding valley. Breakfast and afternoon tea/cake is served on a beautiful patio. Rooms are clean but lacked air conditioning....... More

We picked the Eris Pansiyon out of the Rough Guide to Turkey, which is such a consistent guide for good accommodation and eating. Eris Pansiyon turned out to be a great place to stay for 2 nights in Assos. The address in Ayvacik is quite misleading, the pansiyon is in Assos on the landward side of the hill. We'd come... More

My husband and I stayed in Eris Pansiyon for a night in June 2010, and we found it very hard to leave the next day. We were really glad that we had decided to stay in the mountain village of Behramkale, rather than down in Assos harbour , which felt more touristy and commercial. Behramkale is very peaceful and picturesque,... More
