Stayed here for one night on the way to Salamanca. A lovely hotel, a room with a view and an excellent terrace restaurant right on the historical walls of Avila. We sat outside so we could people watch while eating tapas, screened off by glass walls and with a heater. When we went inside for a nightcap they found out... More

My mother and I stayed 4 nights at "Las Leyendas" in October and we totally LOVED this charm hotel. It was beautifully decorated and it felt absolutely cosy !! We had the room #202 and it was exactly as shown on the website. Our balcony had view on the magnificient "Sierra Gredos", the room had its private bathroom (with bath-thub),... More

Very comfortable hotel with a perfect location for my purposes. I spent most of my time in the historical city center, but it was an easy walk to any spot I wanted to visit. The staff was most accommodating.

Not a bad hotel - just not as good as the hype. The loacation is excellent - particularly since you can acces it directly from the promenade at the base of the wall. The room was large and clean but a bit gloomy. The bathroom was fine, but the plumbing required a PhD to sort it out. We had one... More

We stayed there 1 night in october 2012. Booked it via booking.com. The checkin was smooth and everything were ready when we arrived. Friendly english speaking staff. Beatiful restored, Just outside the city walls. Extremly good value for money. We would stay here again. We did not try the resturant but the bar is very cousy.

If we had not had a front room we would have had to complain as the open view was almost the only plus point. The bathroom was very good and well appointed but the bedroom itself was very basic which was not redeemed by the rough cast stone walls, which look so good in the photos. The room safe didn't... This hotel has its own restaurant above the hotel under the town walls. Every night they drag the chairs and tables in and chain them up. It lasts a long time and is extremely noisy. Also, our room was nothing like the fotos, hidden down the back with no 'exposed beams and rock walls' so be prepared so something not... More
