A very tasteful conversion of a 16th century palace situated centrally opposite the cathedral. Welcoming and obliging staff who helped sort out our accommodation for the next stop on our holiday. Pleasant, spotless room marred only by its location over an alley made noisy by late night garbage shifting noise. As we only ate there once and as part of... More

This is a perfectly-located hotel for those wanting to stay centrally and walk around the old city and see the sights. The conversion of the old interior patio into a central sitting area with tables and couches is pretty spectacular architecturally. My room was large by European standards (and according to the fire map on the back of the door,... More

This hotel is a gem. It is in and old palace, some parts were built in the sixteenth century, and it is in walking distance to the sights. The cafeteria has a wonderful glass skylight and the restaurant has fine dining. The rooms are well furnished with a surprising attractive alpine design, plus the bed is not hard- just what... More

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Avila in December. It's about a 15/20 minute walk with suitcases from the bus station and is very easy to find. It's well situated in the old town, just opposite the cathedral, We didn't have any problem with street noise, mostly because most of Avila seems to be outside the... More

Very well located just besides the Cathedral. We left the car in the hotel's own spacious parking (EUR 20,-/day) and discovered Ávila from its very historical center by foot. The hotel is a beautifully restored historic palace with a fantastic atrium where we really enjoyed snacks and drinks. We stayed in a room without any view, but were happy about... More

An historical building with interesting and effective arquitecture solutions as in their glass covered spaces. We were assigned a room without any external view, but a fairly silent one if it were not for a noisy spanish couple next door/wall. Their spacious rooms deserve a individual heath control (as most hotels we have stayed at, temperature is kept too high!)... More

This hotel is very well located inside the city walls of Avila ..it has nice, comfortable, and clean rooms . Service was good. No complaints. Well preserved palace. Nice glass enclosed atrium perfect place to relax after a lot of walking . Breakfast was nothing exceptional. Parking available, however, limited. Avila is a beautiful place to visit, and Palacio de... More

This hotel is quite beautiful for its price. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The staff were serviceable. Be careful which rooms you get. Those in the back on the street side are near where the street garbage for the street is maintained. All night locals are rustling the cans. The garbage collection trucks come very early in the... This hotel is very well located in the centre of the old town with views, if you are lucky, of the cathedral. Elsewhere rooms have views of the reflective glass of the roof - not horrific but uninspiring. The building is historic but well maintained and incorporates a spectacular roofed patio. Our room and its ensuite were of a good size... More

Wonderful conversion of a palace right opposite the cathedral. So easy to walk around this lovely city from here. Exceptionally helpful reception staff including warning me that I had left a car window open when parked in the garage. Very quiet room overlooking the domed restaurant room. Shame the zircon had been switched off as it became very stuffy. Next... More
