My group were all pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean, the beds were soft, the shower was hot and the breakfast was good. We arrived and were checked in promptly with no issues. Room isn't huge, but there was room to walk and I had a window out to a sm. courtyard and a/c. The bathroom was like... More

The hostal 'did its job' as they say. All I was looking for was a cheap, simple, basic but clean place to stay a few nights and this is what I got. Reasonable rates, a small but comfortable single room with air conditioning and en-suite facilities. And a simple breakfast is included as well. Perhaps the only downside was one... More

The title says it all, this Hostal/restaurant has an excellent location, being just outside the medieval walls. At an extremely reasonable price (less than 40€), we had a double room with private bathroom, air conditioning and a lot of space (and a decent breakfast included). The only flaw was that my bed was squeaking with the minimum movement I made.... More

Clean and comfortable, great value for money. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, location great, right opposite one of historic gates and access to town walls. Wifi free. Breakfast good albeit simple and food in restaurant tasty and well- presented. Hotel staff spoke good English but waiters neither English, French or Italian, only Spanish. This was the only negative aspect.

For its category, it is very good. In general, I would say it is quite acceptable. Staff is very kind at all times, and rooms are large. Ours had a view to the ramparts which was nice. It offers a simple but acceptable breakfast which is included in the price -pretty low price. This hostal is really value for money.... More

My sister and I took a day trip from Salamanca to Avila and ended up wanting to stay the night as we wanted to stay for an outdoor music concert and would have missed the last train back to Salamanca. We went to the tourist office and asked for a map of accommodations. Instead of checking out the places on... More

This is a perfectly located spot in Avila. Just at the famous walls surrounding the old town, some 100 meters from the Cathedral. Just couldn't be better. The receptionists are polite and helpful, they consider your wishes you had expressed during the reservation and they do take care of their guests (i.e. on our departure day, they specially opened the...
