Redfish lodge was one o my favorite experiences in Alaska this summer. Not only was it clean, friendly and accommodating but the owners went above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home. When we had trouble finding transportation- they helped us. When we needed gear- they had it even down to bear protection. When we... More

My buddies and I were in Alaska on business, but took the weekend to do some salmon fishing. Redfish Lodge provided us with waders, net, rods and reels. They also have everything needed to take care of your fish when you bring them in, including shipping them home. They put us in a cabin with a queen bed, bunk beds... More

I can't say enough good things about this place. Our family stayed here for three days as a base for travel in the area and it felt like home. Feeling homesick as I write this review from North Carolina. They arranged a perfect fishing expedition on the Kasilof river for us and processed our catch for the trip home. We... More

Had a really good time here. Cabins were very well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and furnished all the fishing gear we need to try to catch some salmon. We did not catch any but had a good time trying. THe owner also arrranged for us to go to the sled dog training area of one of the... More

The lodge was perfect. We came to the area thinking we would camp, but we then found the Red Fish Lodge. This Alaskan gem is perfect for everyone. Being tourists, we were looking to do some salmon fishing. The lodge set us up for success and gave us plenty of gear and knowledge needed to catch the biggest and best... More

Our stay at Red Fish Lodge was excellent. The cabins were clean and supplied well. It was great to have a kitchen as well as the grill outside. Staff went above and beyond to be sure our needs were met. We came as guests and left as friends. You will definitely see us again.

Booked a trip to Alaska over the July 4th week. This being our first trip to Alaska, I found a great travel agent in Anchorage (Charlene's Express Travel). We only had one day to fish on the Kenai Peninsula, so the travel agent recommended the Redfish Lodge. We took the 2.5 hour drive from Anchorage and met Steve, the owner... More

My wife and I stayed at Steve's place for 5 nights in June with our two adult sons. Steve and his mother Marcia made us feel right at home (his wife was visting her family) and worked hard to help us enjoy fishing in the area. We fished the Russian River with equipment all supplied by the lodge. They also... More

My partner Paul found the Redfish Lodge listed in Purpleroofs, the Alaska gay travel resource. There aren't many openly gay friendly places on the Kenai peninisula iso we thougth we would give it a try. Not a luxury place for sure, and not for everyone, but it was a change of pace for us. Met some nice families. Some of... More

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Redfish and Steve and Leah (sp?) made us feel like family. I stayed 6 nights with 3 buddies and used Redfish as our "base of fishing operations". The bottom line for us is that Redfish gives us all we need for our Alaska fishing adventures and they are always so helpful... More
