Goodness, these folks work their tails off! Boat crew, kitchen crew, owners, Roger and Marlene all worked together to provide a welcoming "coming home to family" experience. Loved dinner hour served family style where guests, staff, Roger and Marlene all eat together and share stories of the days activities. Marlene has an amazing ability to multitask preparing meals, checking in... More

The owners Roger and Marlene were very helpful. We changed and modified our reservations several times before finally settling on dates. Even then, we emailed and called multiple times to get additional information to which they promptly replied. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given instructions on where everything was located as well as the semantics of the daily... More

We got up there a little late due to a rental car dying on us, and the staff was genuinely concerned. Once we were there, we felt like we had come home to family. The accommodations are very comfortable, especially after a day of fishing. The food is legendary. Marlene's cooking and charm are unsurpassed. We just couldn't wait to... More

The owners were very flexible to our one nighter request and a delay on arrival. They and staff were extremely friendly and clearly have tons of experience with how to keep a diversity of guest types happy, from hard core fishing groups to people who just want to check throwing a line in an Alaskan river off the bucket list.... A good quality experience, if somewhat unremarkable. In fairness, both the fishing and the weather were so-so, but we found lodge ownership to be somewhat tired and unforthcoming, especially to first-timers. Insofar as the repeat guests already knew the drill, we newbies had to ask a lot of questions. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the... More

We've been coming here for three years and wouldn't ever stay anywhere else. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Everyone is friendly; the owners, the guides, the lodge girls, and the guests. Everyone makes it an enjoyable time that keeps us coming back year after year. The food is absolutely amazing. They never let you go hungry; from the pre packed... More

My son and I had a wonderful Alaskan fishing experience and appreciate the hospitality from all at Anglers Lodge. The lodge provides a home away from home environment and the guides make your day of fishing a lot of fun. The owners of Anglers Lodge are very conscious of providing and recognizing the "little things" that make your visit very... More

Stayed for four nights, fished three days. Even though king fishing was slow we still had a great time. Enjoyed everything about the lodge. The Anglers Lodge crew treated you like you were one of the family. Already planning to come back and stay longer next year.

I spent a lot of time on the internet looking for an Alaskan lodge that had a river location, its own fishing guides and equipment, rooms with private bathrooms and meals; Anglers Lodge had all these things in their Lodge and it was all excellent . The guides love to fish, are knowledgable and are a pleasure to fish with.... More
