My husband and I stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely hotel in the quaint walled medieval town of Sighisoara. We had a magnificent view of the town square in a nicely appointed upstairs room. Further, the reception lady was most helpful as I needed to contact the recent hotel where we had stayed to locate a forgotten item.... More

Right on the square with an nice staff. If it was good enough for Prince Charles! Beware, lots of stairs and low clearances and be prepared to wake up at 6:00am, for the bells toll for you! And realize that you can drop off, but you must park a kilometer away.

Getting to Casa cu Cerb was a little challenging but once we arrived we were happy. It is important to know that the only way to drive to the citadel is up the rear entrance. Still not sure how we found it, lots of finger pointing and then some divine intervention 😀. Once we got there, we dropped off our... More

The place is charming with its old architecture and interior only that there are too many stairs and no elevator to the top rooms. The rooms are large (at least the one I was in and another that my friends used), comfortable and the hotel is located in the heart of Sighisoara citadel. Downstairs there is a terrace where you... Sighisoara is on everyone's itinerary in Romania and with good reason. It is one of the most charming little towns not only in Romania but all of Europe. We were on an escorted private tour through Romania and our guide told us that this is the favorite of many American tourists. It is a (pedestrian-only) storybook town with a small... More

Had a lovely room on the top floor overlooking the square. Nice seating area, very comfortable beds, great breakfasts and staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Very strong and dependable WiFi. Note lots of stairs and no lift, but that seems to be typical Romania; not the most handicapped accessible country. Aside from that, you can't... More

I loved this hotel on the square. It is a few houses up from the house owned by Vlad the Impaler's father. According to our guide, it is assumed that Vlad was born in that house. Yes, there were a few sets of steps to navigate, but no problem for most people, though a problem for the wheelchair-bound. Quaint room... More

Very well placed in the historical area of the medieval Sighisoara, Casa cu Cerb is an charming old house with spatious and warm rooms. You can also have a meal at the restaurant downstairs. A little bit difficult to climb the stairs with luggage and kids and ... the way to your room is ... through the restaurant. There is... More

Not sure if we were upgraded or not but we couldn't believe the size of this room for the price! The room was on the top floor with an attic window looking out over the picturesque main square. Unlike some other reviewers, we were offered help to carry our luggage up the three steep flights of stairs. Located in the... More

Casa cu Cerb is one of the several beautiful houses on the main square of the historic city center inside the citadel of Sighisoara. The location is perfect and the rooms are spacious and nice and decorated in a classic but cosy style. Our room was on the second floor. There is no lift so we had to carry our... More
