I stayed here as part of my Intrepid Tour and therefore did not choose this hotel. A fantastic location right on the main square. Large rooms that are quiet. They sit back from the square surrounded by a courtyard. There was an Ethnic Festival on in the main square when we were there and the music was extremely loud at... More

This is an awesome hotel with a stunning location in the citadel of Sighisoara. You can drive up there around the back of the town to check in, and although it is a stiff walk from the carpark below the atmosphere makes it worthwhile. A nice thing to do is to stay up late having a beer with the friendly... More

Best location on the castle square, very helpful and kind staff, in general the price/quality ratio is perfect, so, I will not criticize anything other than this damned hill. Cars cant only be parked, if you find a place, for a couple of hours to check in a.s.o, but has to be driven down town! Yes, you can get a... More

Expect no frills or a/c, but the room was a good size, clean and the beds were comfortable. It is extremely affordable. The room fan served its purpose with the windows open to draw in the cool night air and sounds of the town - which I rather liked. Stand up in the tub with a hand shower (no shower... More

We are right now in the hotel....but it is awfully....: 1. a lot of dirt in the room(hair all over the bathroom, spiders on corners, mold smell) 2.A/C unit does not work and when solicited to solve it , the reception said that it is no chance in the next days 3.TV signal sucks 4.the supposed medieval air looks more like... Another one night stay on our tour, we were put in the building opposite the front door of the hotel, with a MASSIVE room overlooking the square. The room was first floor, with an ancient wooden staircase leading up to it, the wood was exposed and if you looked closely you could see the marks of the carpenters tools from... More

Location could not be better, for sure. The room we had lacked some comfort, just a chair next to the bed, no reading light, a bit spartan. Bathroom had a tub to shower, no shower curtain, so made a mess, again a bit spartan. Breakfast lacked quality, cold fried eggs, limited choice. For these rates, i think they can do... More

Don't hesitate, book a room for a night or two, you will not regret it. Location, location, location. Huge rooms! Our room had private sitting room, then, a monstrously large bedroom, both rooms with huge windows overlooking the piazza. Wonderful caring people working there. Wifi was strong. Without hesitation we'd stay here again. There's nothing sweeter than staying inside the... More

Staying in Sighisoara is like staying in a film set or going back in time as it is a wonderful place. The hotel Casa Wagner has a prime location and all the rooms are quaint and different. However, the rooms vary considerably. The worst feature of the rooms in the attic is the plumbing which is very noisy indeed and... More
