The hotel is located right in the old center of Sighisoara with a beautiful view of the old tower. As the hotel is in an old house , the rooms and the location has an antique feel. We stayed 4 night during new year period, and I can say the food was very good. The breakfast is a buffet, were... More

Casa Wagner is a small hotel, more like a large old residential property converted in a boutique hotel for tourists in the historic town of Sighisoara, in Romania. The town boasts of an ancient clock tower, which continues to attract tourists; Dracula's birth place, a small house which has been converted into shop for souvenirs and tea and coffee. While... Casa Wagner is one of the two family hotels, other being in Brasov, Romania. It is a small friendly hotel, appropriately and most conveniently located in the middle of all the tourist sites in this historical town.We could see most of it from our window. The rooms are good sized, well appointed, neat and clean. The management is friendly and... More

We stayed at Hotel Casa Wagner for 2 nights on a recent Intrepid tour through Eastern Europe. The hotel is in a great spot, right in the centre of town. Our room was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable, though a little dusty and dated. Staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was OK. We had... More

I happened upon this hotel as suggested by a friend of mine as part of a private tour. After touring and seeing the sights of Transylvania at a breakneck speed, Casa Wagner was a nice place to rest for a quiet evening of reflection of the days events. The staff was polite and courteous and made us feel welcomed from... More

Location is fantastic in the main square of the citadel. My room was extremely big, in a historical building, clean and nicely furnished. On top it was really unique. Unfortunately bed sheets had the same age of the bed... Breakfast was not remarkable (e.g., no yogurt, limited choice of food). However it's good value for money and the building is... More

Our family stayed at Casa Wagner for 1 night as part of our road trip and the location is excellent, right in the middle of the historic city. The hotel is not new and has antique furnishings, but is a very good value considering the location and the price. We had good service from the front desk, as well as... More

We chose room 1 which is a huge suite with giant windows overlooking the center of the square. The antiques were quite interesting and the king size bed very comfortable. This has to be one of the best bargains in Europe for the quality versus low price of the accommodations we had at the wonderful Casa Wagner.

We have got a room equipped with a cooler, tv and glasses but there was no hairdryer which seems strange at a *** hotel. The winery area looks very nice however the breakfast was so so. I was positively surprised with the quality and speed of laundry service though. The location is simply the best. Can't get better! All in... More
