This was a really interesting hotel. The building is really, really old. It does not have an elevator and the stairs are old, wooden and creaky. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but are quite well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The hotel is just off the main square of "old town".

Beautiful antique hotel around the corner from Dracula's birthplace (now a restaurant). No elevator, so you may need to rely on staff for luggage moves. No air conditioning, so you must open the windows in the summer. The back of the hotel is over the restaurant/bar; in summer with no AC, you will need the windows open over the late... More

Loved the old cellar and the feel of this 500 year old building but hated the stairs. We were on the 4th floor and had requested a lower level room that was not available. Breakfast was adequate but the dining room was not air-conditioned. Service was excellent and the receptionist gave us a tour of the cellar below.

Great hotel, great staff, very good services. The hotel is in centre of the town near all the main atractions. We've stayed for 3 nights, and we have only good things to tell about it. Large, clean rooms, bar, restaurant with traditional food, and a very friendly staf.

Stayed at this lovely hotel in the heart of cetetea ( fort) of this beautiful medevial town. The hotel is steps away from all the main attractions. The room and bathroom are spacious. The one and only negative is lack of Air conditioning, though pedestal fan was provided. The breakfast is good. We did try the restaurant for dinner too.... More

This medieval building is a delightful hotel. We are fortunate in that one with a beautiful bathtub spacious been very nice double bed set up The negative would be the lack of air condition. However it cools off at night even in August to make it comfortable. We within steps at Dracula's castle and all the attractions you want to... More

Very good reception staff with good command of English, which helps. Well located, with everything you need across the road. Good bars and restaurants all nearby. Our room was good and breakfast also good.

This hotel is in the heart of the a really beautiful town. It has a lot of character -- and is very charming. The room was lovely and clean. There is no elevator. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty --it was an easy walk to everything and we took a nice evening stroll.

A wonderful old hotel in a beautiful town. Hotel is right in the centre and has a lovely courtyard for food and drinks. Our room was lovely though quite hot as we were high up with a small window. Would recommend. Great service.
