The previous review titled Tragedy from July 3 is correct. The restaurant, which has a lovely terrace, is simply badly managed. The almost rude staff ignored locals and tourists while chatting among themselves at the bar or engaged in long phone calls. Any other restaurant in Sighisoara is a better choice.

Immediately we were given attention by the staff, helping us with our luggage and then allowing us to pick which room we wanted. Hotel room offers you everything you need, and the hotel itself has a courtyard restaurant and bar. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Let me make it clear that this is a review of the restaurant, not the hotel. We didn't stay here but the restaurant doesn't appear as a separate entry on trip advisor, hence the review here. We were the only diners and the gang of five or six waiters gathered around the bar talking, smoking and joking around together did... More

I stayed here in 2006 and made a point to stay again in May 2014. It has the right atmosphere for the citadel and the garden/patio is charming. Sparkling clean and delightful and helpful staff. And the price was amazingly low for such quality and heading into summer season.

Hotel Sighisoara has appropriate medieval ambiance for its location within the old citadel. There is no lift, but the wooden stairs are wide and not steep. The hotel exudes the character of medieval Sighisoara. The lighting in my room at first seemed low, but the lumens increased after the light was on for a few minutes – not sure why.... More

Hotel Sighisoara is in the centre of town and surrounded by adorable pastel coloured buildings. The lobby was nice although I don't remember seeing an elevator. The staff organized our bags and had someone carry them to our rooms which was a treat! Casa Dracula is only a few steps away from the hotel which was perfect for dinner plans!... More

Visiting the medieval city of Sighisoara means that you will go to the Citadel. Hotel Sighisoara is right in the middle of the Citadel, so everything you want to see is here, the old historic places, teh Clock Tower, the famous Drakula Bar, the German Church on the top of the hill, etc. Just stroll around the cobblestone alleys in... We stayed here for one night on 27th April and I have to say that this is a beautiful characterful property inside the old city wall. Open the window onto the street below and you will see lovely architecture and pretty houses painted in an array of contrasting colours. The hotel rooms are a good size and immaculately clean and... The hotel is a very old building in a great location within the old city wall. We were in a room on the third floor. There is no elevator and it was a long way to take luggage. The room was clean and comfortable but very noisy. First with people until late at night. Then with stray dogs barking and... More

We went here in the off season, and it was very quiet, in fact we were the only customers there the two times we ate here. Regardless, the service we received was second to none! The friendly staff took our food and drink orders, and brought them out to us a lot quicker than we were expecting on both occasions.... More
