Modern, warm and cozy rooms, nice and appropriate furniture, comfortable king size bed, great view to the old city fortress. Wonderful glass-covered pool with spectacular view to the citadel, and 2 types of sauna. Fine and varied breakfast. Didn't like the transparent bathroom wall though :( Great staff, cleaned room thoroughly, lost my phone and called one of my favourite'... More

We were here on a city break and we really enjoyed our stay. Pros: - clean rooms - warm in December (some might say that it was too warm, but we didn't mind) - good breakfast, enough variety so that everyone is satisfied - nice staff - I called the hotel a day before to ask if they had hair... I stayed in the room 308 and I got one of the worst expériences in a hotel: - climatisation fixed at 27 C, impossible to adjust the temperature in the room; the solution was to sleep with the open doors. - bathroom without ventilation and bad water drainage close to the shower. Extremelly deangereus to go in the bathroom even... More

The hotel has nice rooms, an outstanding location and some very nice amenities including an indoor swimming pool with a killer view along with a nice sauna and steam room. There is good parking for those driving. In my executive double there was a mini-bar, well equipped spacious bathroom, large comfortable bed and a great view up to the clock... More

Great city break spent with family with 2 children of 5 and 9 years old, in this hotel, excellent treatment at the spa, great swimming pool inside (enjoyed by both parents and kids), beautiful room with view to the Clock Tower, and full breakfast to meet all the preferences for both adults and children - great cold and hot dishes,... I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel albeit for 1 night only during a 4 day tour of Transylvania, the morning was spent walking around the historic centre of Sighisoara , prior to checking into the hotel in afternoon... With the outside temperatures being well above 30 degrees for the entire Transylvania tour, the sight of an indoor... More

Is not a bad option, but for a 4* hotel need improvements. Rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast is not bad, but cheese and charcuterie selection is not a 4* one. Desk staff are ok, but for a 3* hotel or a pension. Terrace is more like a popular one more than a 4* hotel - dishes, wine selection... More

Great hotel and location. It takes maximum 5 min by foot to reach the fortified medieval village - which is wonderful. The reception area is very nice - you can order drinks from the inside bar or you can go outside at the terrace (Terasa Domnitei) where you can drink and eat (low prices and nice staff) The hotel has... This was a nice hotel after a long day of driving. We liked the two floors in the room. It was clean and nice. No thrills hotel, but it was nice. Smoking downstairs, so may be an issue if you don't like smoke. Also, for breakfast, the waiter seemed to be unable to get us something cold to drink as... More

Stayed at the Hotel Cavaler and really enjoyed the hotel and the city. Sighisoara is great and the Hotel Cavaler is in an excellent location at the foot of the fortified medieval village. It's an easy walk up into the fortified city and the streets and the ambiance are excellent. lot's of nice restaurants and shops in the immediate area... More
