I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel albeit for 1 night only during a 4 day tour of Transylvania, the morning was spent walking around the historic centre of Sighisoara , prior to checking into the hotel in afternoon... With the outside temperatures being well above 30 degrees for the entire Transylvania tour, the sight of an indoor... More

Is not a bad option, but for a 4* hotel need improvements. Rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast is not bad, but cheese and charcuterie selection is not a 4* one. Desk staff are ok, but for a 3* hotel or a pension. Terrace is more like a popular one more than a 4* hotel - dishes, wine selection... More

Great hotel and location. It takes maximum 5 min by foot to reach the fortified medieval village - which is wonderful. The reception area is very nice - you can order drinks from the inside bar or you can go outside at the terrace (Terasa Domnitei) where you can drink and eat (low prices and nice staff) The hotel has... This was a nice hotel after a long day of driving. We liked the two floors in the room. It was clean and nice. No thrills hotel, but it was nice. Smoking downstairs, so may be an issue if you don't like smoke. Also, for breakfast, the waiter seemed to be unable to get us something cold to drink as... More

Stayed at the Hotel Cavaler and really enjoyed the hotel and the city. Sighisoara is great and the Hotel Cavaler is in an excellent location at the foot of the fortified medieval village. It's an easy walk up into the fortified city and the streets and the ambiance are excellent. lot's of nice restaurants and shops in the immediate area... More

I have stayed for 2 nights, attending a wedding that was taking place at the hotel. We have received a room at the top level which was the attic, with the window installed on the roof. We have tried to change it - it is a bit weird for me not to have a proper window but we were told... More

We went here for a wedding and stayed almost a week. The hotel has a good position from the point of view of closeness to the centre but not great in terms of noise (right on the main road which has a lot of traffic all the time, including trucks). It is also right opposite a large church so expect... More

I stayed here for 1 week so have built fairly solid impression of the hotel. Service is 50/50, some staff excellent, friendly and attentive whilst are others are rude and dismissive. I only ate breakfast but it rates as average and acceptable for Romanian hotels (the coffee is easily the worst I've ever had though). As many others have said... More

On our tour of Transylvania, we stayed at this hotel, and were happy with the experience. You will have a great picture-worthy view of Sighisoara and a short walking distance up into the city. There were plenty of outlets to charge our gadgets, the staff was courteous, beds comfortable, and the breakfast buffet with all that we wanted. We would... More

It is a rather new hotel, we particularly enjoyed the parking lots, the superb view from the terrace over the clock tower and citadel walls, the good linen and matrisse in the room. Also the reception lady was very polite and she truly exceeded our expectations. We did not like the fact that not all the spa facilities were working... More
