3 of us stayed one night in two rooms at the hotel and loved it. We stayed in the off season and we were the only three people in the entire premise. As others have stated the hospitality was excellent and Sorin showed a true desire to make sure his guests were looked after. We were offered a Cherry Liquor... More

I had a great couple of nights here. Stayed in the Junior Suite which was spacious and spotless. A warm and informative welcome from the host (Sorin), with a quick glass of homemade liquor. The hotel is in a great location, and Sorin helped with local information and suggestions as well as booking a taxi for a day trip out... More

... and overpriced compared to the competition. I left after one very bad night. Perhaps the other reviewers rate breakfast as more important than the room, but I do not. The owner claimed that my room was the best in the house, and since it is the one whose photos are shown on booking.com perhaps he meant it. I should... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and have never experienced such hospitality from any other Hotel / B & B. On arrival, the owner (Sorin) gave us 2 glasses of homemade elderflower juice which was most welcome as it was a hot day and it was delicious. Every time I passed him during our stay he offered us something on... More

The hotel is located just within the city walls of the old town, very convenient. The junior suite was very spacious and decorated with some nice antique pieces. The bathroom was large as was the shower. Our only criticism would be that the lighting is dim, especially in the breakfast room and reception. Breakfast had a wide variety of organic,... More

Very friendly reception with a glass of tsuica and a coffee. Extremely helpful and kind owner (Sorin) who speaks fluent English and German. I had a small but nice single room with a private bathroom, desk, tv and hairdryer. Noisy big dog nearby. (It is Romania, isn't it?) Very good breakfast buffet with good music and all kind of specialities... More

- poor wifi coverage (2-3 mbits) - no refrigerator - Due to the construction of the building, the ceiling in the bathroom is quite low + Nice and very competent owner ( speaks many languages) + Very nicely furnished + Possibility to sleep in a medieval building ( there were arrow slits above our bed :)) + Healthy and organic... Owner was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Great quirky room, a little small but otherwise perfect. Wooden steps to go up to bed. Loved it and would not hesitate to recommend. Breakfast local produce and very nice continental style. Fabulous personal hotel in a lovely town.

One of the best places I have stayed at anywhere. The owner was very helpful, generous with his time, and kind. The location can't be beat, found right at the gate when entering the old city. The building is incredibly well renovated and room was very clean and the only complaint (though so minor) was the lack of AC (though... More
