From the moment we arrived VERY early from our overnight train journey, and woke up the staff, we were made to feel so welcomed and experienced outstanding service. We chose Sapa Rooms Boutique hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and it was truly our best hotel choice in Vietnam (even above the 4 star hotels we stayed in... more

Anyone looking for a great deal and a peaceful getaway should not hesitate to book a few days at Sapa Rooms. This hotel is unique in concept, location, and design. The owner/manager Pete has a vision--both an aesthetic and ethical one--which he carries out with a lot of energy and passion. Sapa Rooms is a gorgeous place to stay (the... more

My entire stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. When we arrived, the owner, Peter, was there to greet us and we felt immediately at home. Throughout our stay, he was so helpful and always made sure we were comfortable without being too full on - he is the perfect host!. The... more

Unfortunately, I did not stay here. I stayed at Cat Cat View which is down the street a few yards. However, this was our FAVORITE restaurant in Sapa. WE ate here a few times. Lovely fruit smoothies/juice drinks. Try the Banana Flower Salad & the Pumpkin Curry-DELICIOUS! They also offer a cooking class which some of my group participated in... more

My stay here was easily the best hotel experince I have ever had. My family and myself have stayed everywhere from 5 star -2 star, and in my opinion this was the best! The staff are more like friendly locals giving advice and having a chat, and the aussie manager is excellent. He adds the most personal touch and even... more

Ideally located near central market. Staff are truly genuine and friendly. Rooms are comfortable. They arrange good local tours and have a commitment to helping the local ethnic minorities. We enjoyed, would return & would recommend to others (Thanks Peter).... more

We stayed at Sapa for 3 nights at Sapa rooms. The rooms are very clean and tidy and the restaurant is very nice. Peter is very vibrant and energetic and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Its also nice to know that your stay has helped make a difference to the local/tribal people as this hotel is non profit... more

We are a family of four including two boys (5 and 7 years) and had the pleasure of staying at Sapa Rooms in August 2009 for four days. The entire experience was second to none - rooms are cosy and comfortable, the cafe ambience allows you to quickly relax and take in Sapa as it walks by the cafe windows,... more

If you are looking for more than a great place to stay, then this is the place. The hotel is great and the food is outstanding but what Pete is doing for this community is really touching. My suggestions is that you talked to Pete about some things that he is doing and it will inspire you to make a... more
