I just stayed here 1 night and i chose right hotel to stay. The price is very cheap, room is ok, bathroom is clean. Location is in the center, very near the night market and church. It has balcony to look around, it is very nice view. They have a nice restaurant in front, but I think they should make... More

price room is not high, room is clean, the staff is very friendly, all of them can speak English, so easy to talk and communicate. we travel in January so the weather is terrible, it is very cold, freeing outside, Recommend: should go to Lao Cao from August to November, weather is best.

We wanted to spend a couple of days in this hotel that we found on booking..a lot of nice comments...but I guess the place is good in summer time...The rest of the year it s freezing. And you need to pay 2 dollars more for a heater(of course they dont mention it on booking).Wifi was working just in one small part... We were three adults who stayed in a deluxe room for $17. The room was quirky, spacious and clean though showing the effects of age. There was one staff member who spoke excellent English, however we only came across her when we checked in. She was extremely helpful and also booked a trek for us for the next day. Other... More

Very good location in center of town, quite cheap, good service 24/7, there was not very clean but we had fresh towels every day and room was clened every day. Rooms are big, hot water in the bathroom, which is quite important if you spent all day in the mountains. I recommend:)

Too damp to stay! The hotel is nice, rooms are large and the balcony allows a partial view of the hills behind the opposite building. The location is great and the price is towards the cheaper end of the scale in Sapa. The rooms however are extremely DAMP, when we checked in the sheets were damp and the pillows had... More

The best thing I liked about Lotus Hotel was the price - I paid $7 for a room with 2 double beds and a window (with some negotiation), but there are $6 window-less rooms. The room was pretty clean, very big, only downside was the lack of hot water. The location is pretty good, the property is on the busiest... More

I don't think she cooks the food as well) ...if you book an overnight sleeper bus , the pickup to the main bus-stop is organised by her an... More

Mixed feelings about this one: we got one of the rooms in back for 10$ and were told that the front rooms were 15$. No bargaining was possible even when we tried to get a lower price after the weekend, so we left to stay in another hotel, since we found out that other people were staying in the bigger... More
