I stayed at this little gem of a hotel last March on a trip to northern Vietnam and writing a review has been on my to do list ever since. The owner and his family were very genuine and kind and very helpful with what to do in and around Sapa which is such a beautiful part of Vietnam. I... more

The great service began when I step into this hotel. The receptionist, Ms Hang, was busy on phone, but she still took initiative to signal to me that she will attend to me asap. Despite her small size, she offered to carry my heavy luggage to my room. The room has electric heater, and electric heating bed, which made the... more

We recently spent four weeks traveling through Vietnam and Cambodia. Sapa was among the first destinations that we visited, and Thai Binh Sapa Hotel was a great place to stay. It is located on a quiet side street but still within walking distance to the rest of town. We had a clean, spacious, nicely decorated room, and everyone from Nam... more

Weary from the overnight train to Sapa, we stepped in to the lovely Thai Binh Hotel at 730AM, to be greeted by a cozy fireplace in the lobby and warm reception. We were lucky in that they allowed early check in, and we were able to take a few hours nap before going on Sapa hikes. The room was quite... more

We stayed at the Thai Binh Sa Pa hotel for 5 nights and it felt like home from home. Nam, the hotel owner was incredibly efficient following an e-mail enquiry and managed our train booking, onward transport to Sa Pa and trekking, all of which went very smoothly and took away all the hassel of organising ourselves. Nam and his... more

We are a family of five - two adults and three girls aged 20 months, 5 and 9 - and spent five days in Sapa in mid September 2009. Having arranged our stay at the Thai Binh Sapa Hotel months before, via very efficient and helpful online correspondence with the proprietor, Mr Nam Hong, we were pleased to discover our... more

The thai binh hotel is located at the end of sapa, which makes the hotel a safe place away from the hassle in central sapa. although the hotel is in a quiet part of sapa, the shops and resaturants are still within walking distance of a few minutes. the hotel owner welcomed us when we arrived and directly had suggestions... more

We stayed 2 nights at Thai Binh and really enjoyed our stay. I emailed Nam the day before we wanted to arrive and everything was sorted out by email really quickly. They don't hard sell you anything - we sorted our train tickets out with the station directly as it's cheaper. We booked 2 rooms (a couples travelling together) and... more

We stayed for two nights here and had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and the owner went out of his way to help us. After arriving early from the train we got a room to get showered and changed. Just beware, the hotel only has two double bedrooms and the rest are twins -... more

The place is cute, well maintained, very clean, well located and affordable ($25 for our room). With that said, the rooms are very humid, have a lingering smell to them, and not all of them come equipped with a humidifier. The wireless internet was very weak and could not be accessed from our room on the second floor. What really... more
