I was here as part of a two day hiking trip to Sapa, and only dropped by to store my luggage, eat breakfast/dinner, and shower (in a communal bathroom). The food was decent, nothing extraordinary. The service, like other reviewers mentioned, was also nothing extraordinary. The owner or manager (I assume) appeared to had a habit of responding politely to... More

I really enjoyed my two night stay in this "Faulty Tower". It was very cold at the time and good quality heating is not existent in this part of the world. Room was specious and clean but very cold, although hot shower was available. Nevertheless, food is the king in this joint and one of the best you can sample... More

Poor service, first of all, they say that they provide transport from bus station to the hotel, their meaning of "transport" is actually someone will walk with you to the hotel, that is you carry your own luggage and that person jus showing the way,for 15 min distance, when going back time, they say someone will walk u to bus station and when i requested for... Stayed two nights in this hotel and service was rather terrible! often didn't get what I ordered or had to wait very long. We were there with an organized tour (booked in hanoi) and they made us arrive at the train station 3h to early just because it was more convenient for them. To my complaints they just answered "we... More

When we ordered food it didn't turn up. Our table was cleared before we ate! When I went to order 2 beers the man behind the desk just stared me in the eyes eating meat off a stick and ignored me, continuing to play the game his phone. When I took beers from the fridge and said add it to... More

A mixed bag. Like many others our Sapa tour used Auberge as a base. The staff are not unpleasant but were a bit rude at times (on their phones or eating when we were asking for drinks or help etc). Food and drink orders were forgotten, and at one point I received my food half an hour after everyone else... More

We booked this hostel with Sapa Tour. Very friendly people, but not so clean bed and mold everywhere in the bathroom. Overall not very clean. You have plenty options for breakfast, but plates are not big. Would not recommend friends to stay here. There are much better options for this money.

Our Sapa tour used this hotel as a base so we arrived at Auberge at 6am before we were to depart on our trek. We were swiftly instructed with the itinerary of our day and provided menus for breakfast. Coffee and drinks costed extra but that seems to be the norm for tours in Vietnam. Breakfast was simple: tomato and... More

How this hotel can be priced at £16 is beyond me on hotels.com. But we had this hotel as part of our inclusive sapa tour trip bought from Ocean Sun Tours in Hanoi. They need to get a better grip of there itinerary. Not clever, we wasn't impressed at all. Negatives: Had to call the hotel to pick us us... More

That was one of the best hotels we stayed in Southest Asia. It's really beautiful, with a nice view, nice ornaments and good food. This is not a young hostel. This is maybe a family hotel, full of chinese people with a quite ambience, in a hidden alley. It's not easy to find. We were there in a group of... More
