I didn't care for Sapa Summit Hotel at first, but it really wasn't such a bad place to stay. It's definitely a two star place, but it had everything one needed -- buffet style food, comfortable beds, warm showers, transportation here and there, organized tours, and so on. It's full of backpackers, trekkers, and hard-duty travelers.

This hotel has a great view on clear days. The rooms are average but do have electric blankets - some guests complained that theirs did not work. We did not have running hot water on day one and staff were not very competent at fixing the problem. There were two blackouts during our stay and staff were unable to deal... More

We reserved VIP ROOM (218) there have balcony. In room has heater under the bed that make us feel warm. Restroom so big but the floor too cold. Staffs can speak english very well and can help us for tourist place around sapa. We think we will comeback to stay here again if we have a chance.

we've only had 2 of our 3 nights and we're getting out tomorrow even if it means forfeiting the money. Due to bus problems our arrival of 10pm was delayed to 4am. even though we had a room booked &paid for through hotels.com they refused to let us get to our room and demanded we sit in a freezing cold... This hotel definitely needs updating. It is very basic and is not the cleanest. The traditional food dishes are good, the noodle soup was really nice, however, other dishes leave a lot to be desired. The bacon sandwich consists of neither bacon, nor bread. It was bizarre. I would say that the hotel is acceptable for a backpacker's stay, but... More

This hotel have everything and convient location and restaurant for practical reason.. I rate this hotel as average with good massage place inside for easy access. “ Overall, the hotel locate is fantastic, the valet staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Be careful of the non accommodating desk staff and the very underwhelming service of the restaurant... More

No idea why tour companies send their Sapa tours to stay here. The whole hotel is absolutely freezing- almost colder than outside and you have to pay more to have a warm room. No chance of even having a blanket whilst you wait for a bus or train departure in the icy lobby! The shower in my room ran out... More

Do not stay here. The hotel is awful. Food is awful, people are awful, company is awful. This has to be the worst experience during 2 months in Asia. Booked to go trekking for 2 days and only went for 1hr. The company didn't care that they had lied and in fact laughed when we explained the problem. If you... More

At a basic cost- a basic hotel is what you get if the disinterested and surly staff can be bothered to show you to your room- block your nose from the musty smell that pervades, and don't anticipate a welcome drink, far less a smile. The restuarant was cafeteria shabby and grudgingly have you pretty appalling food for breakfast .... More
