This hotel was pre.booked for us in Hanoi..it was pre paid..very unfortunate It was about 700metres from the main hub of Sapa and a very steep up hill for most of the way..a serious payout on my knees (I'm a fit lady) Service didn't exist, the food was not edible, the rooms very poor...fridge didn't work..poor ventilation..the fan fell off... The ambience is good: cloud capped mountains, misty flowers, quiet and refreshing. But other than those, nothing else. The bed is rickety/squeaky. Too noisy to the point that you feel its breaking down anytime. They may have warm attendants in the restaurant but the food is not really good at all.

My husband and I booked Sapa Summit Hotel through a package deal from Hanoi. I found the whole registration situation a bit confusing as there was a check-in reception desk, an activities reception desk, and a check out reception desk. This was easily sorted out. We were there in May 2014, and for some reason the hallway lights were off... More

From the get go my weekend at Sapa Summit Hotel did not start well, we were made to wait an hour in an over heated minibus at the train station until finally we changed buses and set off. When we arrived the room was not ready, despite being notified that we would be arriving on an early morning train. We... More

Everything was so so until we checked out. The receptionist girl charged us 5 water bottles although we just used 2. We told her it should be 2, not 5. She said she would check again. However in the afternoon another receptionist girl charged us 1 more coke which we didnt take at all plus 5 water bottles in the... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package deal we booked through a hotel in Hanoi. The view was brilliant. The room was clean, the free breakfast was decent and the Black Hmong guide our hotel was arranged to take us trekking was very good! The hotel picked us up at the train station and it was fairly... This hotel is miserable. While the location is ideal, the room itself left much to be desired. Most importantly, in the heat of Ha Noi, the air conditioner better work. This one did not. It made so much noise we had to turn it off to get an hour's sleep, then turn it back on to cool off the room,... More

Poor is the first word that comes to my mind to describe my stay here. A travel agent booked this place for us in Hanoi and we stayed there 2 nights. First point of dissatisfaction: the staff. They are very unprofessional - shouting in the lobby, watching movies or arguing out loud in the dining room. They don't care about... More

We signed on for a low cost, light trekking tour. We, as old folks, are not as used to trekking hotels. This tour talked of showers as we arrived from the night train. This meant the communal trekking shower room. The rooms were perfectly fine once we got into ours. The food was industrial. Each meal was a prix fixe... More
