No idea why tour companies send their Sapa tours to stay here. The whole hotel is absolutely freezing- almost colder than outside and you have to pay more to have a warm room. No chance of even having a blanket whilst you wait for a bus or train departure in the icy lobby! The shower in my room ran out... More

Do not stay here. The hotel is awful. Food is awful, people are awful, company is awful. This has to be the worst experience during 2 months in Asia. Booked to go trekking for 2 days and only went for 1hr. The company didn't care that they had lied and in fact laughed when we explained the problem. If you... More

At a basic cost- a basic hotel is what you get if the disinterested and surly staff can be bothered to show you to your room- block your nose from the musty smell that pervades, and don't anticipate a welcome drink, far less a smile. The restuarant was cafeteria shabby and grudgingly have you pretty appalling food for breakfast .... More

On my recent tour to Hanoi and Sapa, I found this hotel to be one of the best that I have stayed in, if not the best. I had a room with a balcony that allowed me to sleep facing the beautiful scenery and sunrise. I was overwhelmed when I opened my room's door and I was in awe for... More

We stayed here because a tour company booked us one night here. Although we were impressed with the beautiful views, this hotel is quite far from the hustle of the city. It adds a little bit of distance to any trek that you might take. Further, the bathrooms are pretty abysmal. They have those showers that get the entire bathroom... More

We were booked into this as part of a tour. The hotel was nice, we had the most spectacular view from the VIP room, although the trees could be trimmed to allow more scenery. The hotel is ageing, doors scraped on the floor and were hard to open, there was no water pressure in the shower or tap and the... More

My friends and I just stayed here few hours for breakfast and then we had a tour with a local guide. From the hotel you can see the area around. Food was Ok, but not really nice though, not many choices.

Sapa was our last stop during our journey in Vietnam. The beauty of this place is out of discussion but for what concern the hotel, well... We booked our room trough Booking.com and the pictures you'll find there really don't match reality! It was our worst hotel experience in all Vietnam. Most of the staff (lets say all of them!)... We stayed at the Sapa Summit hotel as part of a tour we booked in Hanoi. The hotel is ok rooms are a decent size and the food we got was generally ok. Room could have been cleaner because we could find dust ans hair when we got to our room. In case you want to rent a scooter to... More
