By Sapa standards, this is a very good hotel. The room was large, clean and had a fantastic view. However, this is definitely not the Hyatt or Sofitel. The furnishings were rather dated, but everything met our needs. The bed was huge (could probably fit three small adults) and extremely firm. The safe was the oddest ever encountered in a... More

The room was beautiful, but the granite and tile made everything cold. We asked for an extra blanket and worked out fine. The breakfast was good and since it was a buffet there was plenty, The one complaint we have is we were charged $20 USD for the four towels (2 hand and 2 bath) we used to clean up... More

The location, the lobby, the staff, the breakfast, the room are all very nice. But this hotel is older and few or no upgrades for weatherization have been made. OK, we went in the winter. Plenty of fog, mist and 40's temps. The heater was ineffective in warming the room; our guess would be the opposite in the summer. Center... More

The hotel is small, a little far from center, room was not clean with hard bed, Breakfast is not enough, staff can not speak English, this is not a good hotel,When we checked in we found that the room was very dirty and bathroom was broken down so we asked to change room but they said that fully booked, we... Although there was some misunderstanding in earlier communication with the hotel, it was a pleasant stay and Ms Ngoc helped to arrange our tours for us. We had a mountain view room and the view was scenic and the room came with a cute fireplace. The hotel is central and within walking distance for food etc. There was a wide... More

We had the best room I think at the bamboo hotel a corner room which had a view of the street and the mountains. SAPA is breath taking we just fell in love with this town, the hotel is central, clean & the new renovations are great! If I come back I will definitely stay here again.

1. We were given a quiet room with a view. The room was located in the old wing, so it was fairly old and needed a reno. The hot water played up a bit, from icy to hot and it was winter at this time 2. We asked for a shower facility before taking the night train back to Hanoi,... More

Stayed 2 nights, bed was massive hard surface! A tad too hard for my liking, room is big very simple! Great view and alpine village feel to it, hotel is located on a hill and close to western restaurants! Many local shops around. It's what it is for a 3 star hotel, no complain just not the best! Ok for... More

This is very much an upmarket hotel but the prices were very affordable and the service was excellent. Our bedroom was huge, tidy and very clean and the bed was gigantic and so comfortable. The room was equipped with a balcony with spectacular views of the mountains. The ladies at the reception desk were efficient and welcoming. Wifi was fast.... More

Clean spacious room with lovely view. Booked this room through our local travel agency, however the staff gave our local guide the run around when we tried to check in by Midday. They treated our local guide like a second rate citizen. Our travel agent called us to inform is that our room was actually ready but when our guide... More
