Hotel resembles site of tactical nuclear weapon strike (groundburst). Perfunctory attempts to rebuild are in progress. Continuous noise day and night. Food appalling. more

This hotel looks like a bomb hit it. It’s undergoing a major renovation and is a complete mess. The noise (hammering, sawing, etc.) starts before 7AM and lasts late into the evening. If the noise from the hotel renovation isn’t enough, the bar across the street is being built and contributes to the noise. But even if you get up... more

We stayed here as part of an organised trip. It was raining when we arrived and were distraught when we walked into the reception as it was raining as hard inside as it was outside. We were ushered down to breakfast which was ok but we got moved from our table as the ceiling looked as if it was about... more

We stayed here in late September because of a tour we booked- it gets two stars for having a good view and pretty good staff. But the breakfast was absolutely awful (the only OK items were the watermelon and bananas) and there is no sound proofing in the room (which is especially annoying because of the construction that starts early... more

I mean that because here you can find the things are very separated with the other hotel . Like, it's the only place... more

We were informed by the hotel in Hanoi that arranged our trip that the hotel is a good hotel. Perhaps. But imagine how it feels after an overnight journey on a bumpy train with vietnamese operatic music blaring out at frequent intervals to signal stops at stations, and an hour long jam due to landslide, to be greeted at the... more

It is unfortunate that there is so much noise due to the hotels renovations. The reception staff are fantastic and very helpful. They have a discount on at the moment and i had a room for US30- including breakfast. Un like other reviews before me i had no problems at all with my room - there was no hot water... more

The 1st room was small and the bath was full of water due to a leak. After complaining we got a room facing the mountain - the view was great. However, the hot water didn't work, the bathroom had mould and smelt and I could never tell if it was clean. The bed was ok but who know's how long... more
