I got a room for 250,000 dong (excluding breakfast) with air-conditioning, hot shower, TV and a good view, but most importantly the beds were very comfortable. What's more the people working there were very helpful and offered me bus tickets for much cheaper than other places.

I'll start by saying that I visited over 10 hotels in Sapa before deciding on this one. For me it was by far the best value for money I found in Sapa. It is located right on the town centre with superb views over the valley. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, with cable tv and a.c. for about half the... More

The hotel is is totally run done. Rooms were filthy. Had to get staff to change the sheets when we arrived. The whole floor had new arrivals same time as us and they all had staff to change their sheets too. The staff need serious training on cleaning. Had rain 1 night so had leaking throughout the hotel. We couldn't... More

My partner and I checked into this hotel for one night and had the best sleep we've had in Vietnam! For $15 we had a fabulous view from 2 balconies (ask for a corner room), soft mattress, lovely duvet, sky tv, aircon , hot shower. The manager of the hotel speaks good English and was extremely helpful , even offering... More

Unfortunately we arrived to this hotel on the Tete Holiday, there were almost no body, neither stuff nor guests... So the room was not clean, damp, at the reception they informed us that the hot water will be on after a few hours. The stuff was helpfull and friendly, but it is not enough to reccomend a hotel. On the... More

We booked a 6D/5N tour package in Hanoi that included a homestay at Sapa & trekking. We were dropped off at Royal Hotel who gave us a room to freshen up after the overnight train ride from Hanoi. We were ushered to their restaurant and treated to sumptuous breakfast meal where our H'mong tribe guide met us later. The Sapa... More

We followed a tour and the tour booked a 3days 2 nights stay in Sapa Royal hotel for us. We have experienced electric shortage for all three days occasionally. Reason given was weather too cold but we did see light in other hotel and shoplots. Cockroach was detected on blanket and breakfast was served slow and taste so so. Yet... More

I spent 2 nights in June 2013 at Royal hotel in a superior room. The room has great view of mountains and Fansipan from the balcony. The room is worthy for what I paid. The hotel located right in the center of Sapa, close connection to many attractive places such as church, Ham Rong mountain, and Sapa market. Though there... More

Rooms and toilet are outdated and dusty.Could do with some refurbishment. However, rooms are spacious and have nice view. The restaurant is good and the staff very attentive and helpful.Location is also near most attractions like the church,Sapa Square and the market.
