We stayed 2 nights at Village Noshery as part of our 5 night trip to Sapa. Having stayed 3 nights at Hmong Mountain Retreat in the 'middle of nowhere' it was quite a contrast to be in the centre of town. Village Noshery is in a great location. We stayed on the third floor in a very comfortable room with... More

What a lovely cafe this is. The service was excellent and the food tasty and well priced. The muffins had a real home made flavour. The decor is nice as well. It is nice to have a little bit of western style food available when travelling and this cute cafe has just that.

The staff at the Village Noshery & Sapa Rooms is great. They have a really great woman helping the owners manage the spaces and she makes sure you feel welcomed. The rooms are simply decorated, the beds and showers are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is absolutely delicious -the best food I had in Sapa!

My partner and I spent one night at the Village Noshery Mountain Lodge prior to a multi-day trek.  Whilst our stay was quite comfortable, even with a 30% Agoda.com discount the room was overpriced in relation to its amenities, and the subtly pushy staff and somewhat subversive pricing practices really lowered the overall experience.  ROOM:  The room was reasonably large,... My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while exploring Sapa. First of all, the restaurant/cafe is amazing. Happy hour, yummy food and friendly service! The best! The rooms are clean, comfy and simple. Our's was in the back and it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is included and is delicious! The staff is sweet and knowledgeable. We booked a... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night to go trekking in Sa Pa. Excellent decor downstairs in the restaurant, and excellent food and menu. Good for veggies too. A lovely place to chill out after a day walking. We knew the room would be basic, but we did think that it differed a lot (too much) from the... More

If you want to stay right in the center of Sapa this is a great option! Rooms are spacious and bright and the service friendly and helpful. Even if you are not staying here it is worth a visit for the restaurant that offers both Vietnamese and Western dishes... Remember to try the hot chocolate :)

I'm not going to write much regarding the phsical attributes of the hotel itself or its exterior or interior, except for saying that the one phrase that appropriately desribes The Village Noshery is home comfort. What I did want to share with other travellers is my first hand experience of the level of integrity of their staff from my recent... More

With only 10 guest rooms The Village Noshery delivers on its promise, making it’s guest feel right at home with it’s artistic, bohemian vibe and tons of creative energy, the entire 6 floor building located on the main street in Sapa, oozes charm and character from every corner. It offers a special opportunity to experience Sapa as a local being centrally located in the downtown neighborhood with opportunities for it’s guests to participate in their community initiatives. A stay at the Village Noshery, is a very special experience, it feels like being invited to the well-curated home of a local artist friend as the art adorns the walls, all handcrafted in our workshops. You won’t have to go far to meet other like-minded travelers, you might meet them at breakfast, over a delicious lunch and dinner in our restaurant or over a nightcap in the tea and wine rooms. It’s easy to feel at home here. We encourage communal dinning and open conversation, every night is like a dinner party in our restaurant. We want to make our hotel and concept affordable to all, some people are surprised our rooms are so cheap and the service offered is so high. The reason is we wanted to bring our concept of connecting our guests with the local culture, to everybody, not just the ones who could afford it.The Village Noshery mountain lodge and restaurant is a community focused hotel, established to assist the local ethnic minority people who inhabit the Sapa region, to provide career opportunities and vocational training for the staff team of under privileged and ethnic minority people as well as support our school to ensure it is a safe, clean and happy environment for our students to develop.
