My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while exploring Sapa. First of all, the restaurant/cafe is amazing. Happy hour, yummy food and friendly service! The best! The rooms are clean, comfy and simple. Our's was in the back and it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is included and is delicious! The staff is sweet and knowledgeable. We booked a... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night to go trekking in Sa Pa. Excellent decor downstairs in the restaurant, and excellent food and menu. Good for veggies too. A lovely place to chill out after a day walking. We knew the room would be basic, but we did think that it differed a lot (too much) from the... More

We ate here 3 time while staying in Sa Pa and loved it. Great atmospher and decor and delicious food, nice twist on Vietnamise staples. The Service was not the quickest but was done with charm and what's the rush? Your on holiday! The wine was very reasonably priced too. Yippee!,

If you want to stay right in the center of Sapa this is a great option! Rooms are spacious and bright and the service friendly and helpful. Even if you are not staying here it is worth a visit for the restaurant that offers both Vietnamese and Western dishes... Remember to try the hot chocolate :)

I'm not going to write much regarding the phsical attributes of the hotel itself or its exterior or interior, except for saying that the one phrase that appropriately desribes The Village Noshery is home comfort. What I did want to share with other travellers is my first hand experience of the level of integrity of their staff from my recent... More

Just got back from a few days in Sapa staying at the Village Noshery, with the Family. If you are expecting corporate 5 star comfort, don't stay here. If you want a Hotel that is located in a prime spot with easy access to the surrounding countryside and a friendly welcome, then this is definitely an option. The Hotel organises... More

The Village Noshery was very comfortable and the location was very convenient. The staff went out of their way to accomodate our requests and the restaurant served delicious food, including a decent selection of vegetarian dishes (the mushroom pho was amazing!) I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sapa.

Fantastic food in an excellent location. We have no doubt this newly opened restaurant/ lodge will quickly become one of the best in Sapa. Add to that eight guest rooms upstairs- six overlooking the valley, all having access to and incorporating a wonderful common room with brand new authentic furnishings and a comfortable, relaxing stay is assured. Staff kindly and... More

We originally wanted to eat in the sister restaurant 'Sapa Rooms' but, tired after our day's trekking we thought the Sapa Rooms looked a bit relaxed (i.e. sitting on stools rather than comfy seats with backs!). Believe me, after a long day walking with the Black Hmong we had hearty appetites and this place did not disappoint! Delicious marinated pork,... More

With only 10 guest rooms The Village Noshery delivers on its promise, making it’s guest feel right at home with it’s artistic, bohemian vibe and tons of creative energy, the entire 6 floor building located on the main street in Sapa, oozes charm and character from every corner. It offers a special opportunity to experience Sapa as a local being centrally located in the downtown neighborhood with opportunities for it’s guests to participate in their community initiatives. A stay at the Village Noshery, is a very special experience, it feels like being invited to the well-curated home of a local artist friend as the art adorns the walls, all handcrafted in our workshops. You won’t have to go far to meet other like-minded travelers, you might meet them at breakfast, over a delicious lunch and dinner in our restaurant or over a nightcap in the tea and wine rooms. It’s easy to feel at home here. We encourage communal dinning and open conversation, every night is like a dinner party in our restaurant. We want to make our hotel and concept affordable to all, some people are surprised our rooms are so cheap and the service offered is so high. The reason is we wanted to bring our concept of connecting our guests with the local culture, to everybody, not just the ones who could afford it.The Village Noshery mountain lodge and restaurant is a community focused hotel, established to assist the local ethnic minority people who inhabit the Sapa region, to provide career opportunities and vocational training for the staff team of under privileged and ethnic minority people as well as support our school to ensure it is a safe, clean and happy environment for our students to develop.
