We arranged for two nights in Sapa staying at the hotel and twon nights travelling on the Victoria train. It was meant to be a luxury part of our trip. We stayed in the hotel in late January and the fog never lifted so it was great to come back to a reasonable hotel. It is not 5 star but... More

We arrived SAPA after a long day. The hotel is stunning. Right after walking into the lobby we was served Hot sidder drink. The employee are very nice and friendly. We had a family room that was beautiful. Very clean and the heating is excellent (December time). Breakfast is very good couldn't ask for more. They also have a small... More

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Sapa. The hotel was nice, although a bit rustic, tours arranged by the hotel were well done, and the food was good. Our main complaint was about the Victoria Express train. Since the train was fairly empty, on the way to Sapa, we enjoyed our 4 person sleeper cabin although we'd only... More

Dear kb121212, First of all, thank you very much for your feedback and constructive review. It is with regret that I learn that you had a negative experience in our Train. The General Manager, the Train Manager and myself are deeply sorry for you. This night, our Train was under the supervision of our Supervisor, new in the Company and... More

Beautiful location even though it was in the mist for 2 days in January. Excellent food ,comfortable rooms. Arrived by train from Lao Chi at 6.15 am and you cannot check into hotel until 2.oopm. Not very flexible as hotel was not full at the time. Only drawback. More

We only stayed one night in combination with the Victoria carriage ride both ways. The hotel was a lovely retreat from the cool, drizzly weather which we had on both days in Sapa. I thought it was a lovely hotel and enjoyed it very much. On the night we stayed there and just before leaving for the train back, we... More

Dear OceanSkyBeach, Thank you for your valuable review! Yes, the train is shaky and a bit noisy, but it is still the best solution if you want to travel in better condition than the other trains. For the service (Supervisors, housekeeping, security, porters) and the restaurant carriage. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our snack menu in our... More

We were originally scheduled on the Victoria train to Sapa, but it does not run on Saturdays. Unfortunately, we also were informed by our booking company that the train was not available on the way back to Hanoi (that is an issue with this company—switching you to lower priced Hotels after you are confirmed and paid). Despite, the Hotel Victoria... More

Dear mazelana, I am sorry to hear that you had some troubles for your train reservation and experience. For your information, in the Victoria Express Train, we provide hear plugs for all of our guests... Regarding the restaurant, yes there is inexpensive restaurants in town, but it is easy when there is no respect of HACCP rules... But yes, we... More

We arrived this morning at the Victoria Sapa after spending the night on the train. The sun had just peeked out of the clouds, giving us a wonderful first impression after two days of dreary weather in Hanoi. The hotel itself is lovely and the restaurant has excellent food and friendly staff. I must say that I was disappointed with... More

We found the Victoria Sapa to be a very good hotel in this extremely interesting part of Vietnam. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, we did not consider the hotel to be "tired" or in need of a serious upgrade. Rather, the hotel is in excellent condition. We loved our very large and very spacious suite. The bathrooms in... More

Dear freddie98282, First of all, thank you for taking our defense... The Hotel is designed as a chalet, using wood and stone. It is a cozy atmosphere in a mountainous area. All of the services and outlets are in this spirit. Our staff are doing their best to accommodate guests requests, and our Chef, Richard Bias, is working hard on... More
