We spent here a few nights and felt this place was the best the whole place could offer. It was located further from the crowded centre and most of the touts never wandered this far. The owner family was nice and honest, and it was worth organizing the bus tickets through them (heading to Laos) since it was a stress... More

I did not like this hotel at all. The whole hotel just smelt damp, the floors were wet, the roof leaked and the bed covers felt wet and damp which is not great when you're expected to sleep in them. I just couldn't get away from the damp and mouldy smell and it makes you/your clothes stink! The door to... More

Hostel looks really lovely, the food is prepared by a cute lady from the hmong tribe i think and it is absolutely delicious! The pooltable is very nice, spend a lot of time there. Also possible to hire scooters and discover Sapa. It was great staying here.

Room was big, clean and comfortable, except the bad smell in the room that even an open door didn't solve the problem. The view was really nice and we paid 10$ per night. The restaurant is nice, a bit expensive but that's a hotel so we weren't surprised that much. The only thing that really bothered us was that the... More

Stayed here 2 nights. Really friendly well run hostel with a comfortable place to have a beer and meet other travelers. Also cheap motorbike hire and really good info from the staff. Highly recommended No issues to report, hot water worked great and room was clean and comfortable.

I was really happy with my stay here. The hostel has a great communal area/bar to meet other travellers, play pool etc. and escape the marauding H'Mong sales people! The bar is well-priced and they don't mind if you bring your own alcohol in. They serve food here and it's pretty good, you should try the banana pancakes and spring... More

Awesome, affordable, family-run guest house. I stayed for three nights, and loved it. It was great to finally have a big comfy bed. I stayed in a three-person dorm and it was perfect. It is also very close to both the town and the villages. The view from the common-area is impressive. It os also a great place to hang... More

Personally I loved this place. Coffee with steamed milk is better than any where in town. Food is great and a great deal. the owners Tuyen and Luu were very friendly and made me feel at home. Honest people and helpful to getting around were to go and what to see. I stayed here for 2 weeks and woke up... More

We had a really nice stay at the Green Valley Hostel! The staff was wonderfull and very helpfull. We slept in à dorm with four people, the beds where soft and quite big and we had the lovely heaters for the mattrass! The food was relatively cheap and you should really try the ginger tea with honey! Its great and... More

Just left here the other day and promised the owners I'd leave a tripadvisor review! So here I am keeping to that promise. The hotel is perfect for the money. A four bed room cost us each $3.50 a night and it came with hot showers and electric blankets. The restaurant has wonderful cheap breakfast and hot chocolate. Both set... More
