We checked out of our expensive 4 start Hotel and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived here to such a warm welcome. We reluctantly asked if our friends could store their backpacks until 6 pm. Not only did the manager agree but he offered them the use of a shower. Wow what a nice guy. I feel really sorry... More

There may be false recommendations for this hostel, but this is not one of them - It was genuinely a nice place to stay. We arrived very early in the morning, and were checked in immediately. As a part if their policy they upgraded us from double room to a "double superior room" with no extra cost, just because the... More

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The service was stellar, from the little things like them cleaning our shoes after a muddy day of hiking, to shuttling us to the bus stop on a scooter at the end of our stay. The room was large, clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The view from the balcony was... More

Room was huge. Bathroom was huge. Location excellent. Great views of valley. Close to restaurants. Nice breakfast selection(western or asian). Checked out and still let us use the shower after a day in the rice paddies, before the drive to Lao Cai and overnight train back to Hanoi. Watched our bags. Nice car service to Lao Cai. Very friendly staff,... More

Recently we visited Sapa, and due to a mix-up with a hotel booking agency we found ourselves without a room. It was early morning and we had just arrived by train from Hanoi, tired and hungry. With typical Vietnamese kindness and service, the proprietor of the hotel we had originally booked took it upon himself to organise a room for... More

When we arrived I was impressed by Long's offer to upgrade to the VIP with no pressure. We chose not to and I would recommend the room we had which was the Double Deluxe with a balcony and amazing views! We had booked in for 1 night; a homestay for the 2nd and had booked the 3rd night in Bac... More

We stayed here with our 2 year old son. The room was a good size with 2 queen size beds. The travel office down stairs was really helpful as we wanted to do some hiking and exploring but was limited to what we could do by traveling with a small child. He was able to organize village walks and a... More

This Family owned and operated hotel far exceeded my expectations. From the minute I arrived I felt welcomed, like an honored guest. The care, courtesy and service I experienced was very much appreciated. The Owner's and Manager spoke very good English and we shared many interesting conversations. They helped me with tranlations when I was trying to figure a couple... More

This is a cosy little hotel on the quiet road towards Cat Cat village; away from the bustle of the main streets, it's in a great location. The staff are very keen to please and were always available to assist with guides, tours and recommendations for eating out etc. We stayed in the VIP room at the very top of... More

Nice little Hotel close to the Market. I stayed here for three days in April 2014. Friendly, helpful staff that speaks good English. Mr Long the hotel owner does organize trips around Sa Pa, Bus or Airplane tickets. Pick up from Trainstation Lao Chai is recommended because of overrated prices from some taxi drivers. Clean and comfortable rooms for a... More
