We were given a room on the third floor with a beautiful view and it is a very big room with a lounge and a coffee table at the corner where you can enjoy your coffee or eating fruits. There was a bottle of local wine and fruit basket which come together with the room package. The gentleman at the... More

We spent one night at this hotel. TH rroom we had was simply huige. We arrived early in teh morning on teh train from Hanoi, and when we reached the hotel, we were able to get breakfast and check in before heading out on our first trek to Cat Cat village. The location is very close to the start and... More

We booked our stay here through halongsapatours. When we arrived from the overnight train from Hanoi, it was not even 7:30 in the morning. Within 30 minutes, our room was available for us. The gentleman working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We went upstairs for breakfast (where we had a fantastic view of the surrounding area) and... More

We booked this hotel though their own website and paid in advance with our creditcard. We got a nice confirmation that everything was received in good order. When we arrived at 1 pm after a motorbike ride of 3 hours though the rain we got the unpleasant message that the hotel was fully booked and that they did not receive... More

We had a lovely two night stay at this quaint family run hotel away from the bustle of the main street. Truang, the lovely girl at reception was bubbly and helpful and she made our stay very enjoyable. We were lucky to get an early check in and a shower and towel are available at the end of the day... Goodness….where do I start? My husband & I have travelled quite extensively, & this hotel would have to be the worst place we have ever stayed. Don’t get me wrong, Trang, the beautiful lady at reception could not have been nicer or more helpful, but this in no way made up for the sub- standard accommodation. A steep ramp greeted... More

As other reviewers have said, Ms Trang is absolutely lovely and does everything she can to make your stay pleasant. But the hotel is old and tired, there were some big stains on the bed head, the bathroom was a bit grotty with mould all through the shower, and when we first walked into our room it absolutely stank like... Its a quaint hotel on a steep slope. Its quiet for now as there is some construction in front and how this will impact noise levels is difficult to say. Miss Trang the Receptionist is full of cheer and a lovely smile and ever so helpful. Very polite staff. No stairs to rooms, but she will help with the bags.... More

This was a nice hotel to rest our heads. The rooms were basic but clean. Hot water did run out but after a few minutes it would be back on. Free wifi was great. The noise from the hotel reception does carry up the stairwell and I found I woke up several times to loud conversations.
