I'm completely impressed with this unassuming hotel. It has surpassed all my expectations and saved my trip in Sapa. I originally booked a different hotel and was treated so horribly I almost took a taxi back to the train station. But I wandered into this hotel and was taken by surprise. The hotel manager greeted me as I stepped into... More

We were put in Fansipan View as part of a tour but we're delighted with it. The staff could not do enough for us. My wife hurt herself on the first days walk and remained in her room on the second. They went to check on her, made sure she had lunch and generally fussed over her, so good of... More

This is a pleasant place to stay in Sapa. As part of the Panorama Hotel complex, we were impressed how people arriving on the early morning train were greeted with the offer of showers and breakfast until the rooms became available. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with an enormous choice from the buffet

We chose a bit less expensive hotel going by Vietnam standards and that what we got. No heat ( it was very chilly when we were here) the room old and neglected ( my lamp had a frayed open cable and I was afraid to plug it in with the fear of starting a fire) , no map of the... More

Hotel is quite okay, it is reasonable clean and our room had a really nice view. It is not really cheap nor luxury. Breakfast is okay but not that much. Location is really central although the way up is a bit dark by night but never felt unsafe. Staf is friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fansipan in May 2014. The host was a laugh a minute and really keen to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend it if you want comfortable, clean, tidy, friendly accommodation in Sapa. We'd definitely stay there again if we go back. Our view was amazing over the city/mountains and surprisingly, the bed... More

Enjoyed our stay at fansipan with its incredible views. The staff was so friendly and helped to arrange our hiking tour on quick notice the moment we arrived. They also arranged a local bus to dien bien phu for our departure and went out of they're way to make sure we made connection with taking us to meet bus and... More

We stayed at this hotel in mid-January knowing it's not the ideal time to visit Sapa. The hotel is very central, and has a great heating system which was required. Pros: Good English speaking staff member Twin who was very helpful. A great view if it's a clear day from the rooms at the front of the hotel, clean, hot... More

We found them in the center of Sa Pa, hidden in an upstairs of the central park. Staff was really friendly and the room was clean and huge. Big and comfortable bed with warm blankets. A/C was necessary with the cold we found!

This is an example of an establishment that, in a town run purely by the funds of tourism; now takes this money for granted. Management are only interested in your payment and the overall turnover of first-time Sapa tourists that likely will only ever visit once. I was traveling with a friend and booked and paid for a Superior twin... More
