The price was right and everything about the hotel was fine. The room I had was exceptionally large, spotlessly clean, and everything worked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing was really hot. Good bread and good crepes. No lift and up some steep steps from the road. Definitely not recommended for anyone who... More

Tried to find a good budget hotel with little / no flaws in SAPA but after weeks still did not manage to find one. It finally occurred to me that SAPA is in the mountains and rural so we cannot expect to have everything we want at that price. After mentally adjusting my expectations, I found this hotel acceptable. The... More

I guess some of the rooms have nice views, but the rooms don't have safety boxes and our room had a strong smell, probably anti mold liquid. Rooms are worn down but pretty big. Restaurant is average, tried both local food and pizza. The WiFi of the hotel was really bad most of the time. The staff was nice and... More

We had a short stayover here both before and after some Sapa overnight treks. It was comfortable, the breakfasts provided were good, the transport to our trek tours was efficient and overall we were very pleased. It is a short hike up the hill from the marketplace and bus transport down below but it is worth the climb.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. A bit hard to find, it is hidden behind some buildings. The staff is really friendly and helpfull, good wide room with a nice bathroom. Good breakfast, a lot to choose from. The biggest plus here: the bed, wow never had a soft, big bed as this before in Asia, felt like home... More

We have just left this great little hotel and returned to hanoi after 2 brilliant days in Sapa. It's not until you check into a faceless Sheraton in hanoi that you truly realise how great Fansipan View hotel was! We knew it was good at the time but now it's even better. We found it clean and tidy, yes a... More

We stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed our clean, quiet room with a nice view of the mountains. The air con, wifi, and plumbing all worked fine, and the breakfast was pretty good as well (the crepes are especially good, as is the fried rice - try it with Chinese sausage and a fried egg). The desk organized a lovely... More

Stayed here for two nights in July 2014. The staff were wonderful. Couldn't have been more helpful. The room was exceptionally clean but a little too cluttered (too much furniture is our triple) and the sink needed a repair. Shower was great though! I was perfectly happy here and felt very comfortable and would definitely be happy to stay here... More

We had a very nice stay here. The staff was more than happy to help us with anything we needed and the room had a beautiful view. Location was good, close to both the lake, restaurants and the market. When I left Sapa I forgot my iPhone in the lobby. The amazing staff found it and called the manager that... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, good service and location. A bit noisy and breakfast was not great, but it was good value for money. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was great! The hotel can organise tours for you and will pick you up from Lao Cai for free!
