My room was aesthetically appealing, comfortable, and had a nice little balcony overlooking the river. Dark woods, firm and comfortable bed, a cozy chamber. I was very happy. The bathroom is a bit small. This doesn't bother me, but I know it's important to some travelers. It was adequate, very clean, and attractive. The room service food was surprisingly good.... More

We stayed one night at the Victoria at the end of our Mekong river cruise. The hotel is ideally situated right on the river and has lots of charm, with a gorgeous pool right on the riverside. We were warmly welcomed by the manager and promptly escorted to our room. Our transfer to Phnom Penh by their speedboat was flawlessly... More

Stayed here for 1 night with husband and 2 daughters ages 11 & 16. We were given interconnecting rooms as per our request. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was great and the staff were very efficient. After dinner we made use of the pool table and really enjoyed ourselves. My... More

The Victoria Hotel is a nice Hotel with a charming style. The rooms are nice and clean and has a good pool area overlooking the Mekong river from which you can use the Hotel own boat to the town or rent one to the local floating market. Free Internet makes it easy to stay connected. The breakfast menu is good... More

Having stayed in a low budget place the night before this hotel was everything we hoped for. River views were absoulutely awesome! Day spa was fabulous. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was excellent. Prices of food and beverages - great value. Very popular hotel, book well in advance or you will not get in.

My son and I caught the boat from PP down to Chau Doc and had only one night at the Victoria Hotel. The boat ride was extremely relaxing and whilst it took a few hours the scenery changed a lot with some great photo opportunities. The boat ride was a bit hairy just before we got into Vietnam as the... More

We stayed at the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel for one night as part of a tour with Handspan Travel. The hotel is a beautiful colonial style building. When we arrived we were told that because it was low season we had been upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the Mekong which was magical. The room was very spacious... More

We absolutely loved this hotel. Unfortunely we stayed only one night before crossing the border to Cambodia. We were upgraded on check-in and had an upstairs room with a garden view. The rooms are large with beautiful dark wood floors and paneling. The pool area is faboulous and kept our and other guest's kids occupied for hours. The staff are... More

This place was a great break for a day or two from Phnom Penh. I highly recommend the rooms facing the river (otherwise you face the traffic) - the views are fantastic. The food at the restaurant was quite good, though there is also a seafood floating restaurant next door that had good value for money. The rooms are nice... More

Stayed one night after travelling down from Phnom Penh to board our private Sampan for two nights. The hotel has its own jetty making the location ideal for water travellers. Food was excellent - rooms were fine - swimming pool looked great and hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The local food market is well worth a visit.
