You may as well stay here if you have come this far cos there isn't much to see or do in this town , but Hotel was nice the view from the rear restaurant and bar area was quiet apart from the loud boats every now and then , the patio area could do with table side pedestal fans or... More

My wife and I and our two grown-up children stayed here for one night on our way from Phnom Penh to Can Tho. I don't know what the alternatives are in Chau Doc, but this is the only hotel on our three week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia that I have rated as low as 3. It's a great shame,... More

the hotel was close to a road, so noisy, many rooms was smelling a bit of humidity, the pool table and the bar are on open windows outside close to the main road, so noisy hot and polluted, the service was nice but nothing compare to the other victoria. this is may be the best hotel in Can Tho, but... Our stay here was an overnight stop before getting a speedboat up the Mekong to Phnom Penh. The hotel was very comfortable and we (as usual in Vietnam) were given a very friendly welcome. Our room was comfortable and had a great view over the river. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and found the food very good.

This is an excellent hotel in every respect, from breakfast to the rooms to the staff. But the outstanding feature is the view. You can see the Amazon river in three directions and it is like a moving post card. The boats go by all day long. It is simply beautiful. Rooms are either on the street side or the... More

We travelled from Ho Chi Minh City on our way to Phonm Penh. We arrived after long drive and delighted to be staying this hotel. It is an excellent hotel with good terrace to watch the life go by on the river, swimming pool and bar. Excellent place to relax before our onward journey to Phonm Penh by speedboat. Our... More

The Victoria Chau Doc is an attractive older hotel built in classic French Colonial style. It's location on the river allows for some interesting scenes. We were greeted with a refreshing glass of ice tea by very friendly staff. The lobby is comfortable and there is a separate room for computer use. Our room was large having the standard ammenities.... More

Having taken the speedboat from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc on the banks of the Bassac river,we were delighted with this hotel's appearance - lovely lemony French Colonial style building. The bedrooms were small but very well appointed and the restaurant surpassed all expectations. Fabulous food served by the most enchanting waitresses in traditional lemon and white uniforms -they seemed... More

Arranged by the outstanding Water Buffalo Tours - service and location at Victoria were very good. I stayed one night in a water view room. Life along the Mekong appears to be totally unspoiled with some of the happiest people I've encountered anywhere in the world. By the way the Victoria Hotel in Cantho is a very good - a... More
