A view of the sea, fishermen casting their nets just below your room- an impression to last a lifetime. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and insure that our sightseeing here would be memorable. Highly recommended more

This is the best place to stay in Chau Doc. While not amazing by Asian standards, it is a very good hotel and after some days of staying in more simplistic hotels in Vietnam it is a heaven. Location is good 5 min to the center of town and right at the river. Rooms are spacious with a nice dark... more

This was a good hotel. Staff was very helpful and nice. This is probably the best you'll find in Chau Doc. We found 2 dead mosquitoes in our bed, and I called the front desk. Someone came within a couple of minutes to change the sheets. We found some live mosquitoes in the room as well, but being on the... more

The Victoria Chau Doc serves as a decent pit stop to/from Cambodia, but that's about it. The best part of this hotel is the view of the river during breakfast. The rooms are adequate but nothing special. Much like my experience with the Victoria in Hoi An, my impression is that this chain is resting on its laurels as it... more

Gorgeous hotel with stunning dark wood bedrooms, lovely pool overlooking the majestic Mekong Delta, had a tiny gecko in my room but that almost added to the ambience!!! more

The Victoria hotels seem to be highly rated for the most part. I wouldn't rave about this hotel, but it offered a good experience. Room was well appointed (although typical hard Asian bed). The restaurant and terrace area are very nice. We didn't shop around for prices in town, so my gut feeling is the rates here are a little... more

There is no question that this is a very nice hotel. The room was very comfortable and it was probably worth paying the extra for the amazing river view we had from our balcony. Staff are frienfly and helpful, and the pool by the side of the river view was a pleasant way to spend our last day in Vietnam.... more

I selected the hotel because I had stayed at the Victoria in Can Tho. This is at least 3 stars less. The room was very small. I think if you book yourself or with a travel agent you get the worst rooms they know you just come once. It is expensive for what they provide. Our double bed was two... more

Until recently Chau Doc was a lawless border town and its tourist development is young, so one must be tolerant. However, this hotel is old and in neglected condition. The air-conditioning units were inadequate - you'd find better in an old Motel 6. There was mold on the unit. The rooms are small and the ceilings are low. The shower... more

Our room was large but faced the busy road. We were only here for one night so it did not matter. If staying for longer river view room would probably be more interesting. There is a promenade near the hotel if you fancy a walk. The hotel has a lovely terrace overlooking the river where you can enjoy your breakfast or... more
