4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2015

I am a solo traveller and I stayed at Ngoc Phu Hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of March 2015. The room was clean, had a fan and air conditioning, a hot shower and even some shampoo and travel toothbrushes. There was no decoration and no lift, but I didn't mind since I was looking for a budget hotel... More

I stayed here for two nights after coming from Phnom Penh. I hadn't booked any accommodation ahead and got here pretty much by chance. The rooms are really inexpensive and in my opinion that makes up for an atmosphere, that is maybe not as nice as in some other hotels. The First night I booked a room with a fan,... More

Clean, decent sized room, comfortable bed, air con, fridge, and wonderfully friendly staff (including help to carry my bag up the stairs in the sweltering heat!) for under $9 a night - I thoroughly recommend Ngoc Phu. I went there after having spent a night at the very highly rated Trung Nguyen hotel and being thoroughly disappointed with it. At... More

We also never would have chosen a place like this ourselves, but stayed at this hostel as a part of Sinh tourist's Mekong tour. Small, dark rooms that just make you feel sad, with no view. Clean but smudgy place. Breakfast was excellent though, hence the two stars.

Stayed only for 1 night during our delta Mekong trip. Don't expect too much. The only benefits of the hotel is the central location, Wi-Fi and free breakfast. Rooms are very simple with small TV and small fridge. We had two windows, one permanently closed and second with terrible back yard view. Hotel is very old and even if they... More

We visited the hotel as part of the sinh tourist mekong delta tour. The room was very small and not clean at all. The bathroom was open at top, so that every noise goes directly in the bedroom. Mickey mouse towels are not my cup of coffee and the shower is dangerous because of the wires of the hot water... More

Stayed one night as part of Sinh Tourist Mekong trip. Room was basic but perfectly adequate for one night stay. It was clean, air con was very good and breakfast choices were okay. We enjoyed our banana pancakes!

Part of SinhTourist's inexpensive Mekong and HCMC/Phnom Penh tours. SinhTourist describes it as a one star hotel and the guides ensure that expectations are low. We therefore endorse other reviews. It ain't bad. Room was small, but clean. Functioning A/C. Hot water shower. Quiet. Breakfast was good. Surrounding area is uninspiring. Would we stay here by our own choice? No.... More

Stayed here with the sign tourist Mekong tour. After reading all the negative reviews I was prepared for the worst but was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is basically but we had good air con, and a very comfortable bed, good tv, clean large bathroom with good electric shower. Breakfast was actually nice too, simple choices but totally fine. The town... More
