I found this resort to be overpriced for what you get and the restaurant very overpriced. 1 beer and 1 Tom Yung Goong was 300 Baht. not even a good Seafood one but with dried old chicken. I got sick with a bad stomach ache after the first meal. I told the manager about it and his response was to... More

Where do I start, from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. We were in Dan sai for a wedding, there were 10 of us, we stayed three nights. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast daily. The thai omelette was to die for! Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The facilities... More

Phu Pha Nam Resort Hotel in Loei, or should we more specific of the location. It is near to the town of Dansai than the town of Loei. The owner of the property had invested greatly into their orchid farm and took special interest into other agricultural projects. The resort with its accommodation and food and beverage outlets is for... More

What a disappointment. It is ~1 1/2 hours from the town of Loei. It has wooden cabins, very rustic, not charming. The bed was very FIRM. We were travelling as a group, and we were 1 of the 2 rooms without hot water. You could hear small animals moving around at night. The buffet dinner actually had a decent choice... More

The GPS coordinates to reach this resort are 17.3412171,101.2274202 I mention this first because when I visited Google Maps had it listed wrong and led me to the middle of nowhere on roads not suitable for driving. This hotel is off a main road and very easy to reach with the correct coordinates. Our plans in booking this hotel were... More

Great place to visit, so much built from Teak wood & stones all set in beautiful gardens, their restaurant overlooks the valley part of the resorts vast amount of land it occupies, you can take a bus tour of their attractions,an Orange grove,a Tea plantation,an Orchid farm, a huge fish lake & an Ostrich enclosure, plus a great swimming pool... For the price I have paid I thought I was going to have a lot more - our room was beautifully presented but it was rather uncomfortable, dated and the bathroom was not different. Also at night we could hear mice under the roof, not very romantic! Food aws OK nothing special, as well as the breakfast. Sorry the price... More

We came across this resort when driving from the to Phu Rhea by accident. It is fantastic and a great place to get away to the country for a little relaxing holiday. The deluxe rooms have a great picture window with small sofa and a the bathroom is stone with a Japanese feel. The beds were comfortable, not the softest... More

We were so lucky to find this place late at night after taking a left for 20 miles finally turned around, took another road and found this jewel. I say we were lucky for many reasons, one being we were the ONLY ones there, it felt like we had a 10 million USD resort only for us. Breath taking views,... More

This was one of the best places we've stayed in Thailand - the town also added to the stay. An ever so slightly run down resort - nothing major, but just a little faded at the edges. I can only guess when it was built - it looks like something out of the 50s - all stone and massive teak... More
