We stayed at the Soldotna B& B because it was the only lodging available for the Kennel Club Dog Show that would accept our show dog and the one time we weren't in our RV. Having spent my entire life in Alaska and knowing the problems of tourist season Soldotna B & B was a treasure find. Our room was... more

I stayed at the Soldotna B&B for three nights with two friends on a eight night long AK fishing trip. The Lodge was exactly what we wanted and the fishing trips that we chartered from there were great. The lodge was exceptionally clean and we were able to use the outside grilling facilities to cook our fresh fish each night... more

The lodge offers several different packages for fishing, wildlife and nature viewing. They work closely with other charter services to try and get you the best expereince possible. The owners and staff at the lodge are terrific. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and make your stay pleasant. The lodge has 16 different rooms... more

Just returned from two weeks in Alaska (our first trip there). Stayed the first 6 days at this wonderful fishing lodge & B&B. Our hosts could not have been more hospitable and helpful. Went there on a four event fishing/nature viewing package. Three fishing trips (halibut and king salmon on a charter out of Homer, a fly-out across Cook Inlet... more

Our family of four spent a week at this wonderful lodge. The location directly on the Kenai river is marvelous and conveniently located in town. The hosts/owners were very polite and entertaining and also very well informed about local activities. We did a little bit of everything during our stay and it was all arranged by the lodge staff. The... more

My husband stayed for one night at Soldotna B&B Lodge in Sept. Our room was with a shared bath which caused us no problem. Everything was clean and neat. The location was lovely overlooking the river. Very nice people....nice breakfast. more

We stayed two nights at this lodge (we would have left after one night if the reservation allowed it). It is a worn-out property that appears to have not been redecorated or updated in at least 15 years, and the accommodations are way overpriced ($200/night for a small very tired room). The owners are selling, and were not to be... more

Stayed at the Soldotna B&B last Spring for 3 nights. Hosts were very friendly and helpful in setting up the best fishing experience of my life. The guides were very knowledgible and seemed like old school friends. Lots of fun and had a fantastic time. Will definitely be back. Thanks Steve and Monika. more

My husband and I spent one night at the Soldotna B & B while on a trip through AK. It was a last minute reservation while on the road without researching on TripAdvisor (which I normally do), and we were VERY disappointed. The facility is nicely decorated, including our large room with a small balcony and lovely view of the... more

My wife and I went to Alaska for the month of June, while there we wanted to go fishing. We contacted through the internet a place in Soldotna, Alaska. It is called the Soldotna B&B Lodge. I t is owned by Monica and Steve, the caretaker is Bill and the cook's name is Dagmar. The service was fantastic, the meals... more
