This was the first B&B of our trip. The house is beautiful, log construction, right on the river, not very far off the main road. Dick really is happy to make breakfast whenever you want, which is certainly a plus for people with early morning pick-ups for fishing trips. The breakfasts were very good. The bed was comfortable, and I... More

My friend and I were headed down to Soldotna from the Eagle River and Wasilla for an event. We decided to spend the Friday night at the lodge that way we could take a shower in the morning, fill our bellies up and be ready for the day ahead of us. We were SO sad that it was only a... More

The Kenai River Raven is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and tidy. There are four rooms upstairs that share a common area. I thought it was a quiet room even with the common area just outside the door of our room. The staff is wonderful Dick and Stephanie were very welcoming. The staff helped us... More

The lodge is located in an excellent area, close to major highways restaurants stores and also the airport, very cool setting with fishing right in back with a private dock. Fishing rod ,cleaning table, and excellent view. The room was big, great bathroom, very clean. you are able to open the window. the walls are very thin though and if people... More

Dick arranged everything. Fly outs, multi species and great fly fishing for steelhead. Went w my daughter and it was our best time together. Ps. Dick is a mean cook. Stevie keeps the rooms as fresh as the Ritz. Anyone want to talk folk music or wine. This is such a great relationship ... It is not just a trip.

This is the place to stay in Kenai or Soldotna, Alaska. I'm a CEO of a national medical company and I have a client in the Kenai area. I've stayed at other places but the Kenai River Raven is the best place to stay. It's a bed and breakfast, rather than a hotel. Most of their clients are anglers who... More

I called back in January to reserve a room. I was told there was a deluxe room with a nice view and a Jacuzzi for 2. I booked that room over the phone and a deposit was paid. I never received any kind of confirmation, so I emailed and called every few months to confirm the reservation. (Mid-July is very... More

This lodge is absolutely beautiful. It is run as a business though, losing some of the personal nature of B&B's. But the hosts were very willing to assist; kitchen was off limits. Our bed, a Temperapedic, was awesome! And the jacuzzi tub was a welcome treat. The rooms, lodge and furnishings were really nice, new, Alaskan. A bit high on... More

We were immediately greeted and made to feel at home. The view of the Kenai river from our room was fabulous. The owners were very helpful in recommending sights and things to do.

Dick's a great host - really enjoyed our stay there. Great breakfast, super clean, and flexed to a late arrival for us.
