I have read some of the reviews on this hotel and it is not as bad as people say. It is just an older hotel thats all. The room I stayed in was very clean, just older furniture and things. They do have a flat screen TV in the room however, with plenty of channels. The front desk clerks are... More

This place was advertised as being cozy. This probably meant small rooms. The beds were uncomfortable although the bedding was clean and nice. The hotel is also located on a noisy street. The price was right but the location is not so great.

I found it to be pretty quiet. We were on second floor facing the highway, but had a double window which did block out the noise. Even slept through a pretty spectacular thunderstorm, so the double windows worked. I am a light sleeper too. The rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. Would probably stay again. A little pricey for what... More

I stayed at the Soldotna Inn Friday July 12, 2013. I was in town for a dog show, and I needed a dog friendly hotel. I got to the hotel late per my reservation. I was put in the room next to the office, 102-I could hear the machines in the office as well as a compressor of some sort.... More

I am a very seasoned traveler and I am pretty easy to please. I like it simple, minimal amenities are just fine but CLEAN is a must. This hotel was anything but that. Very old and not exactly well kept. Our room had cheetos all over the carpet, one of the bed's bedding was not changed... The only way we... More

Average room and not cheap but they offer a satisfying complimentary breakfast, which makes a stay ok. Soldotna is a crossroads sort of place and we had business the next day in Kenai (bear viewing flight); a stay here cut the drive from Anchorage just a bit shorter. Next door, under same roof, is Mykel's restaurant - a bit overpriced... More

I just stayed here July 2012. We wanted a room at the last minute after fishing all day and being too tired to drive home. The front desk girl, Jenny, was extremely helpful and friendly. She helped us get a better price than anything available in town. Yes, the rooms are not the latest and greatest but they were clean... More

Pros: new TV, low price, accepts pets, largish bathroom, on-site restaurant, decent value for the money Cons: loud bar/restaurant esp. on weekend nights lots of traffic noise, located on the Kenai-Spur Highway dark and dingy

My husband has been coming here for many years:-I just had to take photos of room pictures stating in no uncertain terms that cleaning your own fish would give you serious financial penalty: - copy is now framed in our A/Zona house!! Mykel's Lounge (downstairs,) from fairly basic lodging is really good:- Denise and her team cook up a storm,... More
