We made arrangements to stay here on reccomendation of a guide service. When we arrived we found it had just changed hands and overall it was poor. The breakfasts were great and they did allow us to use the laundry facilities. The back yard was a cess pool, there seemed to be at least one family with teenage children living... More

There are new owners at the lodge now and when I went they were so helpful and nice. The rooms where spotless and the breakfast was awesome! They did have a lot of workers in and our fixing locks, cleaning rafters, etc. but that's to be expected since they bought it only a month ago. I would defiantly go again.

We stayed for a week recently at this property. The website makes so many claims that are absolute lies we couldn't believe it! Free home cooked breakfast - box of cereal. Free fish cleaning - a 12 year old neighbor kid that charges 3 bucks a fish. Free fish vac packing - same kid charges 2 bucks per bag, this... More

For hard-core fishermen, this lodge might merit a four-star rating. Hot breakfast (beginning at 8), a good packed sandwich lunch for the day and a location on the Kenai. We fished, watched bears and toured glaciers, but found our room (downstairs) not very pleasing. Certainly could have been cleaner and the water had a notable sulphurt odor. Didn't notice this...
