This lodge was a perfect place for us to spend our fishing experience in Alaska. Joe and Stephanie are great hosts and took care of any need we had. Great location right on the river. Cabins were very clean and everything we needed for the week. We got to know many of the other cottage residents for the week as... More

My husband and I just got back from a quick 5 day trip to Alaska. Joe was the most hospitable, amazing host at the orca lodge. He set us up on 3 excursions that we will never forget. We also had an amazing guide (Mark) that took us sockeye salmon fishing. Unforgettable experience and great value. I didn't know what... More

Cant say enough good things about the cabins and the owner! Just a great location right on the river. Our grown daughter and son had a separate cabin but we could have stayed in just one if needed. Fire pit area is great. We were so pleased with the place and location! couldn't beat it!

Had an amazing week at the orca lodge! Caitlin and Matt took great care of us! Cabins were clean and we loved the fire pit at night. Matt was our guide for one of our tours and we had a great day with him and caught a lot of sockeye! We definitely recommend Orca lodge and look forward to returning... More

After researching for months living in Texas for our dream trip to Alaska, we finally selected Orca Lodge. Our hostess was so on top of our cabin and itinerary. Our first night we were invited to join them and Hobo Jim by the fire pit. Cabin was clean, roomy and so very convenient. We had 7 trips booked with the... More

Orca lodge was awesome! My husband and I, along with another couple, had booked a fishing trip with Mark from Fishology. He suggested we stay at Orca lodge when we asked for recommendations for lodging and I'm so glad he did! The lodge is made up of individual cabins. I'm not sure how big everyone else's was, but our cabin... More

Four of us went to Orca Lodge for a "Men's Getaway". The Lodge is made up of 6 or 7 individual cabins each with a double (maybe queen) bed and a single bed down and a double and a single in a loft (have to climb a ladder to get to loft). All beds were "adequate" but Motel 6 quality....Furnishings... More

I've stayed at Orca for the last six years or so with anywhere from 2 to 8 people. Cabins could not be better. Include modern bathroom and good kitchen. Sleep two people each perfectly. Patty goes out of her way to do whatever needs to be done.

I just got back from a week long trip fishing/boat touring/hiking/exploring the Kenai Peninsula. It was our first time there and thank god we stayed at Orca Lodge. Our cabin was clean and comfortable and truly fit our every mood. When we came back after a long day out on the river in the rain and constant wind, our cabin... More

There is no place better in Alaska for scenery, fishing or hospitality! I have been fishing on the Kenai over 20 times and this place is the best! Patti is the most wonderful host and they have the best guides! We always catch plenty of fish and at the end of the day we sit around the campfire eat smoked... More
