Our trip to the Farm Lodge was a major part of what was my husband’s dream retirement trip. This is a family owned and run lodge, so they take great pride in serving their guests. The staff is friendly, courteous, and always helpful. They greet you individually when you arrive, transport your bags to your room, and take care of... More

Lake Clark Air and the Farm Lodge hosted our two and half week trip ferrying nine of us to Twin Lakes, Moraine Creek and Summit Lake with rest stops in between at the Farm Lodge. It was a complex trip with crazy short turn-around times, adverse flight conditions and lots of gear management, all in the peak of their season.... More

The Farm Lodge provided a great base to explore the surrounding beautiful Lake Clark. The cabins are very comfortable and well kept (with great view). The food while basic is good and more than adequate. The meal is communal with fixed time unless requested otherwise. This is also an alcohol/smoke free place. Glenn and his team of young folks provides... More

This is the most expensive accommodation I have ever stayed at largely because of the personal flying tours of the park and its remote location. The Lodge is not luxurious but it is comfortable. Meals are good and more than plentiful. In fact I was unable to finish any dinner or lunch. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and will... More

My wife and I stayed at the Farm Lodge in Port Alsworth in Lake Clark National Park in late June for three nights on our latest trip to Alaska to notch our 55th and 56th National Parks, Katmai and Lake Clark. We first visited Brooks Camp in Katmai NP before flying on to Port Alsworth with Lake Clark Air service,... More

The wife and I joined another couple for a 4 day stay here to view the bears and get some fishing in. I have been on several trips to remote fishing camps in Canada so I had a good idea of what to expect coming here - slightly rustic cabins, communal dining, and a lot of time away from most... More

What a beautiful oasis The Farm Lodge is. An hour and a bit flight from Anchorage to Katami National Park. We chose this place as we were going to Brooks Falls to watch bears catching and feeding on salmon. The Farm Lodge is located in an idyllic part of the world. The staff were faultless, the food sensational and the... More

While the location of this lodge is remote, they still try to maintain a four to five star service for their customers. That being said, I was used to only three star service so it came as a bit of a shock to me when I stayed here. The luggage handlers and staff are there to greet you immediately when... More

This was such a fantastic trip starting with the flight through Lake Clark Pass to The Farm Lodge. The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable, the food was pretty good. It WAS difficult for me (with arthritis) to get up the 4 flights of stairs to the dining room from the cabin but the view was wonderful and the... More

In my effort to see all the National Parks, I booked an excellent overnight with Lake Clark Air. The flight thru the Lake Clark Pass is breathtaking, and the Farm Lodge has it's own landing strip. Immediately, a helpful staff gathered my luggage and took me to my cabin. The cottages are each divided into 2 private cabins, extremely comfortable,... More
