A birthday time to remember! The staff at this very hospitable inn reflected all the warmth and friendliness of Petersburg. Plus, the "welcoming committee" of the hotel-owned poochies and kitties ... really got to our hearts! The thoughtfulness of the entire staff from check-in counter, complimentary continental breakfast area, housekeeping, to car rental assistance ... was truly superb! Their genuine... More

My wife and I stayed at the Tides inn for two nights during our recent self guided tour through Alaska. The Tides Inn is a locally owned, older, fairly small hotel located in a very small Alaskan small town that has a total of 2 hotels. We really enjoyed our stay here and thought that the hotel was a very... More

The staff here is great!. Home cooked breakfast included. A bucket of umbrellas in the lobby because it rains a lot here. Rooms neat and clean. Great TV. Convenient location and free shuttle to ferry. Coffee always available in the lobby. Oscar the cat greeter is an added attraction. Very sweet and affectionate.

We've been coming to Petersburg for the past 8 years and staying with Tides Inn. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay for our group of 8. The staff's been excellent and the rooms are just what we need for our trip each year. With the added laundry room and the continental breakfast, that made things that much... More

Stayed at Tides Inn for 3 nights and was very pleased. The room was comfortable with AC and that is not usual in that part of the world. Room was clean and very comfortable and staff was super friendly. Would recommend and stay again. It was a good stay.

This is the best place to stay in town. I had to get on the wait list for Mayfest, but they got me in! I love that this is a family run place. They are so sweet and accommodating. The complementary breakfast is pretty good, especially when they make their gravy! They always have coffee available. I like to visit... More

Early check inn and gave a discounted rate. Very friendly and accommodating with transportation to ferry and good breakfast. Also easy to walk everywhere in town. Gave us the only fan available in the hotel during a hot spell.

This is a nice hotel for the area: friendly staff, comfortable beds, rooms are clean. Good breakfast was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to everything in town because it is pretty small to begin with. Whale watching station in walking distance - maybe a mile away. Only stayed two nights on the way to a fishing... In all my trips to Petersburg I had never stayed here, my mistake. Turns out this is a very nice place to stay. Nice clean well appointed rooms with heat, AC, mini fridge and a microwave. Continental breakfast to include waffles. Very friendly staff always willing to help out.

It has always been a great place to stay. Both times I have visited hotel this year the hotel has been very helpful. The rooms are great and beds were comfortable. Guest services are the best I've seen for a remote get-away place. Best thing about this hotel is you can also rent a car from the front desk to... More
