We stayed only one night at Rivercrest Manor. It had a huge room and bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The proprietor is friendly - she is an animal lover. They have a little 3 pound dog called Misty, and a host of birds - but unfortunately the birds have to be covered 12 hours a day, and we had... More

I have loved staying at Rivercrest Manor in Palmer !! It is a great home, very clean, huge bedrooms with a bath, TV, comfy bed, internet access, and best of all - a great and healthy breakfast each morning. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in the area !! Jarolyn is a wonderful hostess and makes everyone feel so... More

During our almost two weeks in Alaska in August 2012 we decided to try a B&B instead of a hotel and we choose this pleasant modern house with a nice yard. The owner told us she just reopened and showed us some rules of the house, like taking off shoes before entering to avoid marks on the wooden floor… anyway... More

We had a very nice stay in a beautiful B&B. We felt right at home and the room and bath were great. We had no trouble following their rules and if you want a good nights sleep, in a comfortable bed, with TV, internet, and good breakfast then this is the place.

Too many other choices for lodgings in the area; I recommend checking them out before reserving this one. The rules of the house - NO talking after 10 pm, NO piano playing, NO games - are issued by Jarolyn like a commandant, an unsmiling one, as we were checking in. We were taken aback by her manner. We're quiet people... More

Decided that we wanted to visit the Alaska State Fair in Palmer and went searching for a B&B. We liked the write-up we found for Rivercrest and booked for a night. Jarolyn confirmed the reservation and provided instructions for how to let ourselves in --- room was large and nice with good bathroom. She made a very nice breakfast the... More
