This B&B goes above and beyond - the presentation of the home, the attention to details, the gorgeous view of Pioneer Mountain, and Collette herself - one of our favorite B&Bs in Alaska. We stayed in the Pioneer Suite which was very spacious and lovely, though there was no separate bedroom, there was plenty of space and comfortable bedding for... More

Out of five stars I give Alaska's Harvest a 10!! Truth in advertising certainly applies here with the caveat that it is even nicer in person. Our host and hostess, Joe and Collette, were so welcoming and gracious making our family feel welcome from the note on the front door when we arrived to the last goodbye. The accommodations were... Wow! Fantastic place, setting and view. From first walking in the door until departing a week later, we were still finding nice touches of home decor throughout the house (excuse me, home.) As most travelers will arrive late evening, Collette had prepared a nice welcome note – directing our group to various rooms. From the initial view of the main... More

We stayed there two nights in order to explore the area (rafting & glacier hiking). We were very happy of the choice. The house is huge, very comfortable, located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is not too far for the town, where a number of restaurants offer good food. The owner was very helpful to prepare the trip. Finally,... More

This is a great place to stay if you're in the Mat-Su valley. The house is stunning with amazing views, it's a little way outside Palmer but an easy drive and Palmer itself is a pleasant little town. The rooms are huge, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is self service with food supplied in the rooms. The owner was... More

Thank you so much for the good review! I am so glad you did mention the "best if used by" dates because I need to be more watchful of that! I never want my guests to wonder if something is still good or not. Being in Alaska with not so many stores that carry the items most of our local... More

We were looking for a place to stop over in the Palmer/Wasilla area for one night on our way to Seward. I'm so glad that I looked into bed and breakfasts in the area. The price was so much more reasonable than the hotels and had much better reviews. I spoke with the owner when setting up the reservation and... More

THANK YOU for the nice review and for staying with us! The only thing I wanted to clear up is that where I put the children that night is called the Fox Hole, not Knik's Nook. Knik's Nook is a whole room located on the other side of the house. When the Gold Mine room is rented, they get that... More

Spacious modern and very cozy home in a quiet wooded area west of Palmer with an outstanding view of the mountains. Congenial hosts. A great place to stay when visiting the nearby high elevation Hatcher Pass and Independence Mine State Park.

We did not stay at Alaska's Harvest B&B. We stayed at their Cottage. While I have already given a review, I'll be glad to do so again. We had a great view of mountains on three sides. Got photos of moose trying to eat the neighbor's garden. The Cottage was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It... More

We arrived late and left early, but the accommodations were amazing. Beautiful home! I liked that the owner left a note on the door for us and we were able to come and go without interrupting the other guests or the owner.

No trip to the Mat-su Valley in Alaska is complete without staying at the Alaska's Harvest B&B. This is the most beautiful and serene home I have ever visited. It is the perfect Alaskan atmosphere. Collette is so kind and hospitable. We didn't want to leave.
