We happened upon this lovely B & B when we were looking for a place to spend the night in Palmer, Alaska so we could visit friends there. This is a wonderful find! I highly recommend it! The owner/operator, Collette could not have been more gracious or helpful. The facility is clean, well appointed with Alaskana and in a beautiful... More

As we planned to do a road trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage and finally Seward for a whale-glacier watching trip (900 miles), we wanted to plan our stops as best as possible. We wanted to enjoy nature around us and stop whenever we wanted to take pictures, rest or eat. One of our stops would be in Healy where my... More

We ended our two week stay in Alaska here. How fortunate that we had 4 days here. We stayed in the luxury Pioneer Suite which was comfortable, extremely well stocked with breakfast and snack food, and incredibly clean. The property is amazing. Our private balcony overlooked gorgeous mountains and a sheep farm which also included a pair of horses. Colette... More

Very quiet, Continental breakfast is waiting for you in your room. Make sure to read all the rules on the laminated papers as nobody is there to explain them to you. We paid for the room downstairs with a private bath. The bath was not in the room but separate, next door to our room. With that being said, at... More

Did not actually get to stay at their B + B but they where very helpful. Based upon my interaction with them if I was back in the area I would definitely stay there. Just a word of advice, some roads in Alaska do not have the signage you might be used to!

Wonderful place with a great view. The owners were kind yet left us to do as we wish. Each room had its own fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and breakfast bar! The beds were huge and comfortable and the decor was cute! Free wifi and free dish network.... though the tvs were small, but who needs tv in Alaska?! Only thing... More

This is just a lovely place to stop over for a night or longer if you can spare the time. We arrived without a booking and owners were not at home. Rang them using Skype and made a booking. No regrets at all. Beautifully located in pristine 15 acre grounds. Rooms are first class, cosy and comfortable. The hosts are... More

We stayed at this lovely B&B a few weeks ago and wished we had time to stay more than 1 night. We didn't get in until later in the evening and had to leave early the next am. It was such a gorgeous home and property. Our room was decorated in rustic but elegant décor, bed and linens clean and... More

Every time we stay with the Hands, the experience is wonderful. My family of 5 typically gets the Pioneer Suite, which has TONS of room and plenty of beds for the kiddos, too. It has its own balcony and exit, private bath, shelves of books to relax and read, and direct access to the parking lot, so there no interruptions... More

My husband and I have travelled to Alaska for several years. We have stayed at this wonderful B&B as well as their great "Colony House". Boths places have incredible mountain views. At the Colony House families can have a full kitchen to cook all the fish they may catch. There's a moose mom that visits with her calves to munch... More
